You have downloaded the wrog driver, please ensure that you have selected the appropriate one for your operating system. e.g if you are using windows 98 ensure it is the windows 98 driver. Alot of printers also have desgnation differnences that are very subtle for example i330c or i330b, these subtle differences are actually entireley different machines and the drivers will not match.

Looks promising. It's an INF fie which are driver files. Download, extract, and direct Device Manager where to install driver from. The worst that can happen is it won't install, or you have uninstall / delete. Better than those fake drivers you mentioned.

I don't know where i have to install the driver of CrystalEye, i have downloaded but i don't know where i have to put, i have ran the steup.exe but i can't see the program, can you help me?

I think I'd be in the need of more info on this one, but the drivers usually install in X:\Windows\drivers.. sure, it depends, on the Windows, you got... like XP, Vista, 7... so if the setup.exe doesn't start, you might find a folder, near the setup. exe with the name "drivers" or " inf" you get in there and find a file with a name .inf and right click it, and select "install" notify me, what you find.

CD html presentation-hyperlinks don't work with other pc's

To create an Autorun-enabled CD-ROM, proceed as follows:
  • Create an Autorun.inf File
    Autorun.inf is a text file that is located in the root folder of your application CD-ROM. It provides to the computer the name and the location of the startup program for your application that is installed when the CD-ROM is inserted. The Autorun.inf file can also contain optional information including the following:
  • The name of a file that contains an icon that represents your application's CD-ROM drive. This icon appears in Windows Explorer instead of the standard drive icon.
  • Additional commands for the shortcut menu that appears when the user right-clicks the CD-ROM icon. You can also specify the default command that runs when the user double-clicks the icon. Autorun.inf files are similar to .ini files.
  • The [autorun] section contains the default Autorun commands. All Autorun.inf files must have an [autorun] section.
  • icon: Specifies the path and the file name of an application-specific icon for the CD-ROM drive.
  • open: Specifies the path and the file name of the startup application.

Autorun.infThe following is an example of a simple Autorun.inf file. It specifies Filename.exe as the startup application. The second icon represents the CD-ROM drive instead of the standard drive icon.
[autorun]
open=Filename.exe
icon=Filename.ico

Trying to install printer

Two issues, you can go to the HP site and download the latest printer driver for that model:

http://h10025.www1.hp.com/ewfrf/wc/softwareList?os=228&lc=en&cc=us&dlc=en&product=3418705&lang=en

Or check what version of windows you are running. Click on START, SETTINGS, CONTROL PANEL, SYSTEM.

It should tell you on the first page your OS and what patch it is at.

I am trying to backup my computer to PMD, But every time get an install error saying (the INF file you selected does not support this method of installation.) I did't have this promble when the PMD was in...

You may have a corrupted driver for your PMD. See if the manufacturer as a driver or HP.
Microsoft Windows drivers must have an INF file in order to be installed. An INF file is a text file that contains all the information necessary to install a device, such as driver names and locations, registry information, version information, that is used by the Setup components.

Hi gig14789,
Never do a re-install unless you run the un-install software or remove the program from within add/remove programs in control panel. You're software is all messed up now. Lets try this.
Turn off you're printer (press the on/off button). Click the start button & slide up to & click on control panel. Once opened. Double left click add/remove icon & it will open. Find Lexmark & un-install the software by clicking on remove. Un-install/remove anything having t do with the Lexmark printer. When finished close all opened windows. Restart you're system. When windows has finished loading I need you to creat a folder on you're desktop. Name it (Lexmark Z705). Click on the link below.

http://search.lexmark.com/printer/US/en/15L0000
Save this link above to you're favorites. (You may need to come here again).

Scroll down the page till you see, Lexmark Z705 - Drivers and Downloads. Click on you're operating system.
Click download now. Choose to save the file. Save the file into the folder you created (Lexmark Z705). Once down loaded open the (Lexmark Z705) folder. Double left click the .exe file.
Follow the instruction & on screen prompts. The software will tell you when to power on you're printer.
If this fails to install correctly please post back in this windows & list any error messages you might receive. List you're operating system too.

Good Luck!

Mike

Looking for: AL1644 Printer Driver for WinXP I got this used fax/copy/scan machine and I download the driver for Sharp but there is no set up file / autorun file Any one have an Idea?

Have you tried to install it yet? If not, go Start>printers and faxes>add a printer. When the wizard box opens up and gets to the point about your driver, tell it to search in this location and then specify the location where you put the downloaded driver at. When it finishes your printer should be installed. If this fixes your problem please rate as fixed. If it didn't, please don't rate yet. Add a comment and tell me what happened and I'll be glad to help you further. Thanks.
