Question about Microsoft Windows XP Professional
I would like to remove my k9 web protection but it is protected by admin password could you help me?
Try to restart your computer in safe mode
To get into the Windows 2000 / XP Safe mode, as the computer is booting press and hold your "F8 Key" which should bring up the "Windows Advanced Options Menu" as shown below. Use your arrow key to move to "Safe Mode" and press your Enter key.
Note: With some computers if you press and hold a key as the computer is booting you will get a stuck key message. If this occurs, instead of pressing and holding the "F8 key", tap the "F8 key" continuously until you get the startup menu.
After that login to administrator account. i think there should be no password.
remove K9 web protection.

These are the official uninstall instructions:
Please follow the instructions below to uninstall K9 Web Protection. Make sure you are connected to the internet before uninstalling K9 so your license can be released. If this is not possible, you can continue to uninstall, but you will need to request a new K9 license if you want to reinstall K9 in the future.
After rebooting, K9 will be completely uninstalled.
