Hi-

Quite interesting... have you tried connecting it to a computer using a VGA cable? when you start it up, do you hear a chime? check the sounds settings under system preferences or check applications that may change the settings sounds( mac pilot app) if you have any.

Keep me posted

My pc wont recognise my tv as a second monitor - conected with VGA cable

the video card you used have a capability for dual monitor..so 1st thing that you need to do is to make sure that the computer recognized the 2nd monitor and activate dual monitor capability on the nvidia panel..after that on your tv select the proper source(like VGA, HDMI1 etc.) on which you'll be able to see the the video from the computer to your TV..

My samsung 22" lcd tv

The only thing that comes to mind, as you haven't said if you have had it working on it or not, is the fact that it is not capable of handling the resolution you have got set on your computer. to fix this set your computer to a low resolution, connect to your TV and see if it works. If it does increase your resolution setting until it stops working. (if you get it wrong it will revert to the setting before). Hope this helps.

How do i get sound from acer aspire l3600 through my lcd tv

This actually depends more on the inputs on your TV. If your TV supports composite audio, you can just use a mini-pin to RCA/Composite cable. What inputs does your LCD television have?

HDTV as a monitor -- is audio possible?

Hi,
It depends on the TV really.
Does the TV support PC? if it does it will have a D-SUB on the back, it will look like this >>>>

Now if it has one of these is should also support PC audio in. Look for the audio in on the TV, it will look the same as on the PC (probably black in colour)
If you find the audio in port your just about good to go, all you need is mini to mini stereo audio lead like this >>>>>>

Just connect the lead to the green audio out on the PC and the audio in on the TV.
If your TV has not got an audio in port then you will have get some decent speakers for your desktop and use that.

Good luck.

Connecting Laptop to LCD

the following connections available to connect ur computer to an TV:

S-Video output: If you have video card(external u will have this), you require an s-video cable and you connect s-video out of your computer to the s-video int of our TV.

TV-OUT: if you have video card(external u wil have this) you you require an coxial cable and you have to connect TV-out of your computer to TV-IN of our TV(it is place where cable connection goes from your cable operator)

DVI-D: if you have video card(external u will have this) you require an DVI-D cable you haveto connect DVI-D out of your computer(a white 15-pin port which looks like VGA port) ....

VGA: it is the port on your computer which is only used to connect to your computer but not to your TV or LCD(strictly)

Thanking you,

Connecting my laptop to my tv via hdmi

The first step is to determine whether the computer, the HDMI cable or the TV is the faulty link in the chain. I know it's a tremendous hassle to try a different TV, different computer, etc. But it will at least narrow the problem down to one component. My guess is that it's something in the computer that needs reconfiguring; that would be the most likely scenario, assuming you have a new HDMI cable.

I have a 15 inc Curtis LCD Tv which I use as a monitor to my computer and I cant seem to get sound. It used to work well and just recently I moved the computer and now I am using audio cable to connect to...

You need a RCA to mini adaptor which you plug into the speakers/headphone jack on your computer, and then plug the black and red from the rca adaptor into an appropriate audio input on your TV. Both your volume on your computer and TV need to be turned up. I used to use this with my Mac mini and plasma TV to crank out the tunes from iTunes.
