John deere ztrack with 25hp kaw engine idles fine but as soon as i ingauge mower blades the engine it cuts right out new plugs both air filters & fuel filters are new fuel seemed to have water in it the fuel tank & filled with fress fuel i also cleaned the carb bowl could the carb jets be pluged

clean the air filters first. check for full fuel flow to the carby 9(blocked filter)

Black smoke indicates rich mixture. Dirty air filter. choke stuck on. loose main jet in carby. just a few possibilities.

It is possible if you cleaned the carb you may have upset something. You could have dirt in the carburetor jet. Also make sure you have the right spark plug and that you have it set properly. Also the right gas. Has anything abnormal happened to this machine? Does it run rough in idle? then advance the idle adjustment.

Try this.
When the machine begins to stall, immediately loosen the gas cap.
If this works, drill out the vent holes on the cap.

It sounds like it is too rich in fuel at full throttle.
Try removing the air filter and running the engine.
What happens?
Ensure that the choke is fully open.

check your throtlle cable ... it is very possible that if the engine runs fine just doesn't run as fast as it used to that you throttle cable has slipped in the clamp and you need to adjust it ...

your fine filter inside the fuel tank may be partially blocked and only allowing the motor to idle ok but not supply enough fuel when the motor is under load
