I have an audio technica receiver ATW-R14 and a ATW-T51 transmitter and I want to buy a lapel or lavalier microphone that works with this system. Do you know which one and where to buy it? Thanks a million Xavier

SOURCE: replacement lavalier transmitters

The ATW-R12 is not made any more. We here at Pro Line Music are Audiotechnica Dealers. I would need to know what frequences the transmitters are to see if there is another unit that can match thoes frequences. call 215-736-8055

Can u take teh antina from atw t51 and put in another atw t51

just opened up a atw-t51 transmitter. (carefully prise apart the two halves of the case with a sharp blade). The aerial is soldered to a terminal post on the circuit board, so anyone competent with a small sodering iron should be easily able to swop the aerials for you.

Try checking your user manual provided for microphone. That may offer you better guidance.

How do we figure out the frequency?

Hi,

The only way to figure the transmitting frequenty is by using a frequenty counter. For the receiver it's more difficult.
You will need a sweeposcillator which can sweep to 1GHz with a digital read-out.

Good luck,

Changing frequencies on wirleless microphone

No, the ATW-R200 series are fixed-frequency units.
Short of soldering new crystals in, you're stuck with the frequency you've got.
