Issue with my sound card

After kept ideal from more than 5 min. my sound card do not work

This is most likely a driver glitch. Uninstall the sound drivers from the device manager, then reboot. The machine will find the sound card and reinstall the drivers automatically. Then you may need to go into the sound setting from the control panel, and readjust the sound.

That seems like a question for your credit card company. They might have declined the transaction or the site may have declined the transaction in which case calling the site/credit card company would be ideal. This is most likely NOT a laptop issue as it was done over a web browser and seems to be less a function or stability issue and more an issue with information being received, etc

The sound is not working on my samsung r519 laptop. the drivers. etc are all enabled and say they are working fine. volume is up and there is nothing muted. i have also tried pluggin headphones in aswell...

1. check to see if you have the sound muted
2. uninstall/ reinstall drivers > finale if the other do not work
3. You speaker assembly needs replacement
4. check to see if you have decreased the volume
5. a bad sound card > mother board needs replacement
These are the few things that i can assume that is the issue here

a.Operating system
b.Sound card
c.Have you checked the user manual 1st for your device.

I have 2 512 cards installed and the computer only shows that I have only 512 installed and it should be 1 gig?? What would be the cause of this?

There could be many reasons,
1 Either the RAM slot is not working
2 or the RAM card(s) are not OK
3 or the RAMs are not compatable(not of the same specs)

1 Remove both the RAM cards, clean the metal joints in both the RAMs and the RAM slots
2 Remove power, remove all power source, remove power cables including all the battery
3 Keep presssing the power switch ON for a few mins, Do....ON... OFF, ON... OFF WITHOUT any POWER
4 Replace battery, power adaptor, power cables etc
5 Insert one of the RAMs in 1st RAM slot, power on, check if it's OK, Switch OFF, remove the RAM
6 Do the above process for the other RAM, now check if that works, use the same RAM slot
7 Now do the above two steps for the 2nd RAM slot

It will give you a rough idea of where is the issue.....either RAMs are not OK or the slots have issues or there is a compatibility issue among the RAM cards.....

Samsung q45 audio cuts out after around 5-10 mins

First thing if you have the latest device driver for the audio please uninstall and reinstall that. Most of the time this troubleshooting works.

If you are using external speaker please try using another speaker.

Or if you are using a built in speaker then try using external speaker and if the issue persist it is a posible issue with the audio port on your laptop. If not then it is an issue with the built in speaker.

I own an NP5960 sager laptop and I recently reformatted it but, about 2 min. after restarting the computer it began to beep continuously and the num and cap lights kept blinking I install all the drivers...


Try reseating the RAM and check

Plug in the external monitor and check the display on External one, it could be an issue with the Vedio card as well.

Hi, Even if the hardware is physically attached/installed, the necessary software/drivers must likewise be installed in the Operating System of the laptop. Initially you can also verify that your laptop recognizes the sound card by verifying that is present and enabled in the CMOS/BIOS. If you are using a Windows based OS, you can verify that the appropriate drivers are installed in the Device Manager under the Sound, video and game controllers. If there is a Yello or Red mark on the multimedia or sound device, then you need to reinstall the software. The driver/software is normally available in the recovery/installation CD that came with the laptop. If it is not available, it may be downloaded from the Toshiba site/support/download/drivers. Drivers are OS specific. ou should specify what Windows or OS you are using. Hope this be of some help/idea. Post back how things are or should you need further information.
