Check power supply charger, will it run without the battery? and is the battery taking a charge? If everything appears dead the power supply voltage needs to be tested make it is putting out the right amount.

Power supplierd but does not start recorder no

Hello:

If the unit is competely dead, then you may of blown a fuse or the power supply has failed in the unit. If you take off the top of the unit while unpluged check the fuses near where the power cord attaches to the inside of the unit this is the power supply area, If you have indicators lit or the display is coming on then the unit may have a bad power supply or the System control board has failed. It which case its cheaper to just purchase a new unit.

Suddenly went dead whilst playing DVD....checked fuse but that wasnt problem

HELLO

The main problem I have found with these DVD recorders is the power supply unit is NOT up to the job. ALL the one's I have looked at have had bulging capacitors in the power supply unit.

Quality is not the watchword with these Chinese built recorders and spare parts are virtually unobtainable. My advice is to junk it and invest in a much more reliable DVD recorder.

My dvd player is dead.

You check the SMPS (Power Supply Section) and verify the voltages from the various terminals of the transformer accordingly check the bridge, voltage regulator, and filter circuits. If any of this parts are gone replace the appropriate parts not the all.

Dvd stuck in conia clcd1930

To Eject the DVD, my conia clcd1930 needs to be in "DVD" mode. This Mode appears to activate power to the entire DVD module. So the Eject button will only work in this mode.

Dead power supply.

Faulty power-supply symptoms:

The front panel display and buttons are completely nonfunctional and appear dead. The unit will do nothing more than display the following messages on the TV screen:

Interface error
(and or)
Interface error! Turn off the power

If a DVD or VHS tape was inserted prior to the error occurring, you won't be able to eject either from that point further. They'll remain stuck inside the unit until you've completed the repair detailed below.

Interface error! Turn off the power <--- explains how to completely restore your combo in less than 20 minutes by replacing a $1.59 part on the power-supply board. mikeadams110@yahoo.com

Conia DVD MR910D Recorder. Picture is Black and White

Ok sounds like your settings have been changed some how either on the TV or the DVD unit. Check your settings on the DVD unit. In the menu options. There should be a settings for the picture. If you can't find it there, some newer DVD players are also upgradable from the manufacturers website. You just use you PC to go there, get the latest firmware update. Save it onto a USB stick and plug the USB stick into the unit with the power off. Turn the power back on and it should solve the problem. Or you can also set almost every DVD player to default factory mode. You can find out how to do that for your particular model on their website. ..hope that helps you

Dmr e85 will not start up

Hi Audi,
Try unplugging the hdd & then turn on the dvd recorder & wait for about 5 minutes.
Then unplug the dvd recorder & plug in the hdd & turn back on the dvd recorder to see if that fixes the problem.
