Question about Linksys Wireless-G Broadband Router
.on computer, open Internet Explorer
.On the address bar, type 192.168.1.1
Once it prompts you for a username and password , do not type anything on the username and type "admin" on password
.Once you are on the page, click on "wireless" tab
.Look for Wireless Network Name (SSID) and if it’s still set to ‘linksys’ change it to something unique then click Save Settings.
.After changing your SSID, try changing channels to get around interferences. Preferred channels to use are 1, 6 and 11 since they are considered non-overlapping channels.
