Hi there. Power down and remove the battery from your notebook. Look along the bottom of the laptop for a plate with slits for air circulation and a label - something like Memory, RAM, C/M. Undo the screws and remove the plate. You will see RAM that looks almost identical to the RAM you have purchased. If it does not, you have the wrong plate. Put it back in and try a different one. Once you can see the RAM, you will notice a pin on each side of the stick. Push both of those towards the outside of the laptop, and the stick of RAM will "pop" out. Pull it straight out along the same angle it currently sits at. To install the new RAM, push the ram in, aligning it the same way the old RAM came out, and then push it down towards the ground until it clicks. Alex

What is the ac polarity of a fujistsu lifebook c2330?

In household and commercial electronics 110-125 AC has no polarity unless there is a safety ground, in which case the green safety is connected to to the white wire via earth ground. Black is "hot" meaning if you touch it you will feel a shock because your body connects the circuit to ground. A laptop operates on DC power delivered from an AC-DC converter usually around 20 Volts dc and 3.5 Amps, and charges the battery as well. Polarity of your computer is positive tip meaning the fat part of the plug going into the jack is ground, or negative, and the center is positive. I hope this helps.

Installing 2GB of memory in my Fujitsu Siemens Amilo Pro V2020

Here is the problem, the laptop take 2GB RAM. 1GB in each slot, so get 2X1GB RAM. They are cheap now. You need 2, 1GB sticks of ram. For cheap prices go to Newegg.com

Fujitsu Lifebook C2330 Monitor dark

Your LCD backlight is not working. It is fixable but it is not a repair I would recommend to the typical user. The reason is that you have to disassemble a fairly good portion of the laptop to access the light source and/or the electrical components that control it. If you have excellent attention to detail, patience, experience with the disassembly and handling of electronics and the tools then give it a try. It is also important to also realize that by doing it yourself you risk the real possibility of damaging your laptop beyond economic repair then it may also be worth a try. Otherwise I would strongly suggest you take your laptop to the local authorized repair shop.
