Can i downgrade my psp 3001 6.37 OFW
It is possible to downgrade the software on a PSP, but it is relatively difficult and voids your warranty. Also, it may harm your console, so before you decide to do it be sure that you understand the process and that you are willing to accept the potential consequences.
The first thing to do is determine what version of the operating system you are already using. To do this, go to "settings" in the main menu, then select "system settings," then "system information." Write down you version, as what version you are running will determine how you are going to downgrade.
After you determine what version of the operating system you have you must find an appropriate downgrader and follow the instruction given by the developer. The first thing you should do when trying to find a program is to find one that is specifically designed to downgrade your system from your current version.
However, if you cannot find one, or you don't trust any of the downgraders for your version (remember, if something goes wrong your PSP could be damaged, and your warranty will now be voided) there is a one-size-fits-all tool called "Pandora's Battery," which can be found at http://www.noobz.eu/joomla/news/unbricker-for-all-firmwares.html
Pandora's Battery is a good utility, but it isn't perfect. I recommend using it only if you cannot find another program for your specific version that you trust and understand.
After you done all of this, be sure that you understand what the program you chose is going to do, and what you need to do to make it work. Every program is different, and there are tons out there so I can't give you detailed instructions on using your downgrader, but if you don't understand it, don't use it.
I know I have already said this before, but it is important so I will say it again: doing this will void your warranty and may harm your system in a number of ways. Be sure that you are fully committed to downgrading, that you trust the program you are going to use, and that you understand the program before deciding to follow through with a downgrade.
Please let me know what you decide to do and how it works out. Also, if you need any additional support, feel free to leave a comment and I will get back to you as soon as I can.
