Couldn't send fax. no tapi device found

you must resset ur fax machine at ur connected device ,or via computer , ur fax machine is giving u problems becz of some propertise built in had changed, so resset is best option

You can start by making sure that the photocopy is working, this is to ensure that the scanner is working. Next, try to isolate the issue if this is only happening to only one fax number? Given the model of the printer you indicated, I assume your use of the word "send" is in reference to the fax function. Sending a fax to multiple recipients is actually quite easy! Here's how you do it:

1. Load your document into the ADF (automatic document feeder)
2. Dial the fax number of your first recipient
3. Press the button with the check mark on it (DO NOT PRESS SEND AT THIS POINT)
4. Dial the number of your next recipient
5. Repeat steps 3 through 4 until you've entered all the numbers you intend to send the fax to
6. Once all numbers are entered, press SEND

Open the document.

Select the 'fax' device, instead of your "default" printer.
Click File
Click Print
A windows will open, asking you for the FAX-number of the destination FAX-machine.
Enter the telephone-number.
Click OK, to send the FAX.

The sound you are hearing is radio interference, which is stated in the manual and on the base itself as having to be accepted. There are a couple of steps you can take to prevent this:
Move the base to a location away from other radio devices, including but not limited to: Microwaves, computers, dvd/cd/audio players, other phones, radio's, basically anything electronic that sends out a signal.
Moreso, cordless phone's generally have a feature allowing you to change the channel that they send/recieve signals on. Changing this may have a better effect on sound quality. The instructions on how to do so are in your manual!

Check to be sure your modem drivers are installed properly, or they are the correct version for your modem. You may need to re-install the drivers.

If the device still does not function correctly, you may need to purchase a new modem, they usually aren't very expensive.

The screen on your fax machine displays how the machine is set to receive calls. TEL MODE means the machine will not auto-answer incomming calls and will operate as a normal telephone device, it will still however be able to send a fax in this setting.
Place your message on the original tray and pick up the handset, dial the number and when the distant machine answers press the start key or ask for their fax machine and when you hear the high pitched fax tone press start.
There is a button on the panel that will allow you to change the reception mode of your machine to the other settings.
Your machine is of a model that doesn't come into this country so I have no manuals to forward you. You can try however to access the SHARP web site www.sharp.ae
