I JUST bought a insignia speaker 2.1 (model # NS-PCS21) and the speaker plug ins are pluged right, power are plug in, the green and the red cord plugged in... i see blue light comming up. my computer sound is fine volumes are all the way up (both) how ever still no sound. but WEIRD thing is that from the actual speaker it self (not from computer) if i plug in my headphone the sound comes out. but w/out it it does not... is the speaker just not functioning? or is it there some kind of problem that im not doing it right?

Greetings - The setup (as you already know) is simple. If you have the a/c adapter plugged in, the power on and the green speaker cable in the audio out at the back of your PC and and the red cable plugged into the subwoofer and the volume knob on the the right speaker turned up that's all it takes.

The one possible gotcha I can see is if you have something plugged into the jack at the BACK of the right speaker (an AUX jack for things like MP3 players, etc.) it will override everything else.

i JUST bought a insignia speaker 2.1 (model # - mikeywaf_48.gif

If that's all good you have a bad set of speakers.

Regards,

Mikeywaf

On the insignia NS-39d400na14 im trying to hook up my playstation 2, i can see it on the screen but i don't have color and don't have any other cables i can use to add color, can i change settings

YOU HAVE NO COLOR DUE TO PLUGING YELLOW , WHITE AND RED INTO COMPONENT INPUTS, USE YELLOW PLUG FROM PS2 INTO GREEN ON TV IF YOU DONT HAVE A YELLOW JACK ON TV, RED AND WHITE ARE FOR AUDIO IN ONLY. Colorvision Services

Color separation ~ Insignia 32" NS-LCD32

1. Unplug unit from wall for 3 minutes;
2. Press & hold Power button for 1 minute;
3. Plug in unit.
OR:
1. Unplug for 3 minutes.
2. Plug in unit.
3. HOLD Power Button as unit starts ... hold until the unit flickers on then off twice.

This effectively returns the components to factory specs, much like resetting a computer. It offers a *temporary* fix, lasting 45 minutes to hours. All depends on the unit.

Mom has an Insignia 32" with the same color separation problem, which worsens as the day progresses. Best results achieved while television is cold.

Dust in the unit could contribute to the problem ... try to keep the unit dust free as possible.

How should Insigna speakers (NS-PCS21) be hooked up to a computer? No installation instructions were in the box.

If the plug looks something like this...cabosanlewis_0.jpg (It may not be at a 90 degree angle. That is OK) It will plug into the Headphone Jack of your computer. It will look something like this: cabosanlewis_1.jpg It is usually green on a PC, but not always. Plug it into that, and if it needs an outside power source, plug that cord into a wall outlet. Turn up the volume, and done!
Reply if you have other questions. Good luck, Cooper (Please leave good reviews, for I am doing this for a summer job)

I have a insignia LCD 32'' TV and it have sound but the screen is green please help i use the component blue green and red

It sounds like the RED cable is not connected right, you did not mix the RED for audio right channel RCA plug with the RED component RCA plug? Please verify the RED, BLUE and GREEN cables again just in case, otherwise t can be the source component or the processor inside the TV.

Cant get speakers to work

if it is a hardware problem

check to see there is no red X through the speaker this means it Muted if so double click the red X and you will be turning them back on

turn off your computer
1. plug them in most pc's its the green female is the speaker out.
2. do you have power attached to the speakers if you got a power supply or power cord plug, make sure that it is pluged in.
3.turn on your computer.
when you see your desktop see if a speaker is present on the right hand
side of the task bar your in luck

If it is a Software proublem

1.right click on my computer and click on properties.
then click on hardware, then device manager

2.expand sound, video and game controllers the + sign next to the speaker

4. if you notice a yellow exclamation point on sound, video and game
controllers that usually means it's a driver or software
you might need to reinstall the sound cards driver
