Question about Heating & Cooling

1 Answer

I have T8411r1028 honeywell thermostat. The display is off. I cannot get the a/c to work. I checked the batteries - it doe snot take them. I checked the fuse box and reset the a/c fuse and reset the main fuse - still it will not come on. I checked the unit outside to see if there was a water trap - none that i could see but i am not opening it up. The unit is central air, so I don't know what to do next. Can I push some buttons and reset it or is it due to a certain amount of heat?

If there is no display most likey the thermostat is not getting power from the transformer.

Looks like you either have a blown fuse or a bad transformer.
