Time on car radio display

With the ignition key in position 1 or
higher, you can use the button in the
turn signal lever to request information
from the computer. Each time you
press the button briefly toward the
steering column, a new function is
called up in the display.
The displays appear in the following
order:
Time of day, outside temperature, average
fuel consumption, cruising range,
average vehicle speed.
With the ignition key in position 1 or
higher, the last active setting is displayed.
press the button you mentioned when the
time of day displays and turn to right to set
ahead left to set back

Kenwood kvt-719dvd plays dvd but wont show picture

It is probably that the parking safety wire wasn't hooked up properly, or at all. Most in dash dvd players are equipped with a motion safety device to prohibit the driver from viewing movies and such on the monitor while the vehicle is in motion. The wire for this needs to be hooked to the parking brake light wiring. This will ensure that when the parking brake is on, the dvd can sense that the vehicle is stopped, and should therefore show the image.
