My philips gogear vibe wont turn on

Reset your GoGear with something sharp like the tip of a pen or the end of a paper clip,

if you're device isn't working properly or there's a frozen display.

Insert the sharp object into the "Reset" hole (located at the bottom of the player), and hold it there until the device turns off.

If resetting the device does nothing to restore the display, access the "Philips Device Manager" through your computer to recover the GoGear.

Click "Start" on your computer, then "Programs," "Philips Digital Audio Player," "Aria Device Manager," and then "Philips Device Manager."

This will launch the "Philips Device Manager." Make sure the GoGear is turned off completely. Connect your GoGear to your computer while holding down the "Volume Up" button.

Continue to hold the "Volume Up" button on your GoGear, until the "Philips Device Manager" recognizes the device and enters recovery mode.

Click the "Repair" button when it appears on your computer, then folow the steps to fully recover the GoGear.

Properly disconnect your GoGear from your computer and restart the device.

Recharge your device if your GoGear dies suddenly while playing.

Connect the GoGear to your computer via the supplied USB cord.

Plug one end of the USB cord into a functional, open USB port on your computer. Plug the free, smaller end of the USB cord firmly into the small USB jack on your GoGear and turn your computer on.

This will begin the charging process of your GoGear.

If recharging doesn't work, the battery may need to be replaced.

Check that your GoGear isn't in standby mode. Hold the "Power" button for two seconds to turn it back on.

hope this helps

Tip

Internet connection disconnects

If your ethernet card or wifi adapter disconnects when the computer goes into sleep mode, and the only way out is to restart the system, try this:
Open the Device Manager, under the Properties, Power Management tab for your ethernet card or wireless adapter, deselect the box that reads "Allow the computer to turn off this device to save power".

If other devices are sketchy as to how long they'll stay active, try the same trick:
Open the Device Manager, open every USB Root Hub, and under the Properties, Power Management tab, deselect the box that reads "Allow the computer to turn off this device to save power".

New keyboard does not work

To connect or to disconnect the keyboard to a PS/2 port, follow these steps:
Shut down the computer.
Plug your device into the correct port. Make sure that the plug is pushed securely into the connector on the computer.
Restart the computer. Microsoft Windows detects the change, and then installs the drivers on the new port automatically.
If the issue continues to occur, try connecting the keyboard to a different computer. If the keyboard functions correctly on a different computer, the port to which the keyboard was connected on the original computer may be damaged. If this is the case, contact your computer manufacturer to inquire about how to repair or replace the damaged port.

If the keyboard does not function correctly on another computer, the keyboard may be defective. If this is the case, and the warranty on the keyboard is still valid, you can exchange the defective keyboard for a new keyboard.

If the keyboard works on another computer, go to Step 2.
Step 2: Download and install the latest keyboard software
Step 3: Manually reinstall the drivers
To remove and then reinstall the drivers, follow these steps:
Disconnect the device from the computer.
Turn off the power for the device, if the device has a separate power supply.
Open Device Manager. To do this, use one of the following methods:
In Windows Vista or Windows 7, click Start, type device in the Start Search box, and then click Device Manager in the Programs list. If you are prompted for an administrator password or for a confirmation, type the password, or click Allow.
In Windows XP, click Start, click Run, type devmgmt.msc, and then click OK.
Double-click Keyboard, right-click the keyboard that you use, and then click Uninstall.

If your device is not listed, this means that the device was removed automatically when you disconnected the device. Go to the next step.
Restart the computer.
First, turn on the device, if you have to, and then plug the device into the computer. Your computer detects the device and then reinstalls the drivers for the device.

I canot turn on the ipod.

First, try connecting the iPod to your computer and try turning it ON.

If your iPod turns on when connected to the computer via USB cable, then the problem could be the battery or there's a loose wire connection.

But if the device won't turn on when either connected or disconnected from the computer, it could be the power button or the firmware of your device.

Unfortunately, for these problems, you need to contact the manufacturer and have them repair your device for you.

Good luck!

Try going to the actual file the music is in on your computer, then right click Send To sansa 250. If that doesn't work look on the options menu for USB mode and change it, that works on my 280.
