THE TV WORKS FINE FOR ABOUT 2-3- HOURS,.THEN DEVELOPED GREEN VERTICAL LINES .THE PICTURE DISAPPEARED NOTHING BUT A LIGHT GREEN BACKGROUND WITH LINES THROUGH THE SCREEN

If the lines are white diagonal and thin as a thread It is going to be one of two things...
A bad screen amp board or the picture tube.. If the screen amp board is at fault then the set is repairable.. If it is a shorted picture tube it is a cost prohibitave, or no repair situation.
