Did you bleed the gas line of air? In a nw installation it is not uncommon to sit there 20-30 seconds with the gas line union open and the shutoff open to get all the air out and a good flow of gas present. If that doesn't work post a comment with what else happens.

What diameter is the dryer side service connection? The gas connection on the dryer.

The gas inlet line to this dryer appears to be a male 1/2" "NPT" or "National Pipe Taper" fitting. You will need a 1/2" female NPT x by 1/2" flare fitting to connect a 1/2" flexible stainless steel gas line to the dryer. a 1/2" gas service line is sufficient to provide enough gas to the appliance.

You will need to determine what size the gas line and valve is at the gas valve service connection as well (the line and valve coming out of the wall or floor). They are usually 1/2" npt but can be 3/4" as well and may require a different size pipe and flare fitting.

Some jurisdictions may also re an "excess flow valve" to be installed. The service valve should be within 6 feet of the appliance.

Pentair mastertemp 250 NA. heater will not fire, no error codes. starts fine, gas flows, igniter heating but still will not fire. It has a new valve, gas pressure entering valve from new regulator is 8.35...

All appearances - No fuel to ignite!
evrything else looks good, proper gas pressure, proper volts at igniter, etc - it should ignite! If fuel present, heater should Fire!
make sure all valves are open.
Gas valve is ON
AND purge any air from gas line.
IMPORTANT ****. If you bled gas line, don't try to ignite for a few minutes. Allow gas to dissipate first, use a fan to help.

Code Fault Diagnosis Step Remedy
None
Open FC3 and/or
F1 Fuses
1. Check for faulty Gas
Valve wiring.
Inspect Gas Valve wiring. Ensure insulation on wiring is not worn. If
OK, proceed to step 2.
2. Verify that Gas Valve is
not defective.
Mesure for resistance across Gas Valve terminals and between each
terminal and ground. If short exists, replace Gas Valve. If OK, proceed
to step 3.
3. Check for faulty Control
Module wiring.
Inspect Control Module wiring. Ensure insulation on wiring is not worn.
If OK proceed to step 4.
4. Control Module is
defective.
Replace Control Module.

Ignition Failure 1. Ensure gas supply shutoff
valves are open.
Ensure that main gas shutoff installed adjacent to heater is open. Ensure
that knob on gas valve inside unit is in ''on'' position. If OK, proceed to
step 2.
2. Check for low gas supply
pressure
Ensure inlet gas supply pressure is between the minimum and maximum
values indicated on rating plate. If OK, proceed to step 3.
3. Check for faulty flame
sense wiring or connection.
Inspect flame sense wiring. Ensure wire harness terminals are securely
fastened to flame sense and to control module. If OK, proceed to step 4.
4. Check for faulty gas valve
wiring or connection
Inspect gas valve wiring. Ensure wire harness terminals are securely
fastened to spade terminals on gas valve. If OK, proceed to step 5.
5. Check for gas valve
failure or gas valve relay
failure.
1. Measure voltage across gas valve during trial for igintion. If 24VAC
is present and gas valve does not open, gas valve is defective. Replace
gas valve.
2. If 24VAC is not present, gas valve relay on control module is
defective. Replace control module.
6. Check for blockages in
gas orifices and burners
Inspect gas orifices for blockages which could prevent gas flow. Remove
and inspect burners for blockage

Whirlpool 6th sense natural gas water heater 50 gal. Bought brand new today. Upon installation, discover low gas pressure running to unit. Turned out that gas line had under ground leak so had to turn...

1) Be careful before you Call Whirlpool 1-877-817-6750.
Be careful what you report so not to void warranty because installation protocol was not followed. Whirlpool will cover gas control valve, and possibly the installation of valve which takes about 15 minutes and does not require emptying water heater.
************So make sure you report installation that is consistent with installation shown in manual.

2) Whirlpool will also answer this same question later today with invitation to contact them.

3) Copy following link to identify gas control valve, and download service manual:
http://waterheatertimer.org/How-to-troubleshoot-gas-water-heater.html#intellivent

4) If dirt or debris gets into gas control valve, it will cause it not to work. Such as broken gas line. Debris can enter gas line.
Or if too much pipe dope was used on gas connection, or stray teflon tape got into line and then into valve, or end of pipe got dirty during installation, and then dirt got into gas control.
Take off gas line and use vacuum cleaner to see if something can be removed by suction. Clean up the joints.

5) It appears you have ordinary Honeywell gas control valve on atmospheric vented water heater with 9 year parts-labor warranty..
Unknown error code, so it is hard to look up solution in service manual.
Add a comment if you want expert to look up error code in service manual.

My paloma tankless gas has a error code c2 11 c4 12 why

Open following link for useful troubleshooting information:
http://waterheatertimer.org/Troubleshoot-Rheem-Tankless-water-heater.html

Error code 11 is 'No ignition'
http://waterheatertimer.org/pdf/Paloma-Tankless-Error-Codes.pdf

Ensure you have gas to the appliance.
Ensure gas type and pressure are correct.
Bleed all air from gas lines.
Ensure gas line, meter, and regulator are sized properly.
Ensure appliance is properly grounded.
Check gas solenoid valves for open or short circuits.
Ensure igniter is operational.
Check igniter wiring harness for damage.

Error code 12 is 'Flame Failure'
Ensure you have gas to the appliance.
Ensure gas type and pressure are correct.
Bleed all air from gas lines.
Ensure flame rod wire is connected.
Check flame rod for carbon build-up.
Ensure gas line, meter, and regulator are sized properly.
Ensure appliance is properly grounded.
Check gas solenoid valves for open or short circuits.
Check power supply for loose connections.
Check power supply for proper voltage and voltage drops.
Disconnect remote control.
Disconnect and re-connect all wiring harnesses on unit and PC board.
Ensure proper venting material was installed.
Ensure condensation collar was installed properly.
Ensure maximum vertical vent length does not exceed allowable limits.
Ensure maximimum horizontal vent length does not exceed allowable limits.

Range of causes are part failure, gas pressure loss, air in gas line, improper installation of gas line or vent, 120V power to unit is disrupted or unit not grounded, circuit problems, venting problems, remote control, wiring to PC board, board failure, carbon build-up on flame rod, short circuits on gas valve solenoids.
The fact that you have error code tends to eliminate your plumbing as culprit, the error code does not mention air supply, otherwise it looks like every possible cause is on the table.

Gas leaking from tank

This sounds like you have a leak at the fuel pump and sender unit, either in the unit mount or in a fuel line. Check under your back seat for an access panel if you have one then remove it and look at the pump and sender mount to see what is leaking, you may have to start the engine to get it to leak as it may only leak under pressure, hope this helps, let me know

I had the same problem with my tankless waterheater (flashing c4 76 alternately). I called Rheem
tech support and they had me 1 power down the remotepanel 2 unplug the unit from the wall 3 remove the cover 4 remove the wires for the remote panel from the circuit board and pull the twisted pair that goes to the remote out from the bottom of the unit. 5 reinstall the cover 6 plug the unit back
into the wall and turn on the hot water see if it works. It did in my case and they are sending me a new remote panel. I hope it helps.........
