SOURCE: Can any ac adapter be used with sonic impact IF2?
Just make sure that the VOLTAGE and MILIAMP input rating match what it says on the Sonic unit itself, and that the connector is the correct size. More importantly, make sure that the polarity of the plug is correct. Some are inner connector = positive and outer connector = negative or vice-versa. That also should be on a sticker on the Sonic unit or embossed into the case near the connector. DC voltage is UNFORGIVING when the polarity is reversed. The unit itself doesn't care WHAT is supplying the current to run it AS LONG AS ALL THE ABOVE FACTORS ARE MET. If this has been helpful, please rate it accordingly. Thanks and good luck. FYI: check eBay for universal power supplies that include different tips. One should fit your unit. $15-$30

I am also looking for battery for i-Fusion 5085. Anyone out there? All the current answers link to wrong battery.
There is a company in Texas willing to make new battery, but they need copy of broken one and I lost mine. His email is: "Al Hurlebaus (6938)".
There is a popular 7.4V 2200Mah lithium battery pack used in RC toys that is pretty much identical. You might have to cut the plug harness off the old battery and install it on the new one. Look really closely at the plug on these before connecting it; some of them have the leads reversed, and that's a Bad Thing. (IF YOU USE THE OLD BATTERY'S HARNESS, SOLDER THE CONNECTIONS! AND THEN INSULATE THEM WITH HEAT SHRINK!) The RC packs typically go for $15-$20 on eBay. You might find them for a reasonable amount at a hobby shop that specializes in radio control cars and such. If your old battery is missing, the plug is a common type but getting the polarity right is absolutely crucial.
