How to reset your ps3's default settings

you simply turn off the system to start with,
then you hold the ON/OFF button until you hear a SECOND BEEP.
then let go and soon enough, your ps3 should have reset your display settings.
if it turns off, youve held onto the button for too long.

this is useful if you have got a new TV, or if you accidentally messed around with the resolution and display settings.

Forget user name and pass

There will be a manual reset button on the router. It is probably tiny and unlabeled. It may be a little round dot in a dimple on the case (may be near the power button or on the bottom or back) or a tiny hole through which you stick a paperclip tip to activate. This button may need to be pressed for several seconds, to avoid accidental resets. Once reset, your router will revert to default settings. The ID and password will reset to defaults like "admin" and "1111." security will be disabled. You will then need to enter the configuration setup to personalize the name, set a passord, and set up the security protocol. To enter the setup procedure, you will need to access the router's url with a browser (the address will be something like; the actual address will be in the router's documentation). Follow the on- screen instructions. These instructions presume some knowledge of router protocols: if you need help, contact the router manufacturer's customer service.

Mitsubishi ws-65807 65 inch. The sound is very low, distorted and very scratchy noise. It is not the audio exit, it has already been changed. What else could be the problem and what parts would need...

Thanks for using FixYa. Please reset the TV by unplugging the power cord for more than 4 hours and plug it back in. Now check that the sound is coming normally from the set. You’ll need to also check these parts---

Breakdown or overheating of some components of amplifier, wiring, speakers, function settings, power supply and sound detector inside the signal IC processors are fine.

Go to the on-screen-display and make sure you are set for stereo audio. Please check that the on screen display is set up for internal speakers and stereo audio. Also, check any other settings that may have gotten disturbed accidentally. Make sure that all the settings are correct and that the internal switch on the back is set right. Use headphones and check if you’re getting sound through them. You’ll need to check that the issue is with the speakers, wiring or the amplifiers.

If still the issue is not resolved then check the audio chips are fine. If you’re using RCA cables then switch to HDMI and vice-versa.

Please do accept the solution if the issue is resolved or else revert for further assistance.

I have a 6 disc changer that goes with this but after installing the display reads no magazine? any ideas?

Unplug the changer, let it set for about 30 seconds then plug it back in. The round cable on the side, it has a slide clip. Push in on the cable and pull back on the larger ring with the arrow on it and it will come out. If it still persists, slide open the magazine door and look at the bottom right corner of the chasis, there is a small dot, that is a reset button, an inverted bump. Push it in with a pen and hold for 3 seconds, that causes it to reset. Beyond that, it would need service. Hope this helps

Display shows nothing

The first thing I would suggest is a hard reset. Unplug the unit for a minute or so. Then plug it back in, set the clock and try again.

If that doesn't work, leave it unplugged for about 5 minutes. Then let us know if the hard reset does not fix it.

Also, Please reply back with your brand and model number so we can help you.
