Question about Acer Aspire 6930-6771 Laptop
Hello and welcome to FixYa,
there are a couple of ways you can do this,
If you have windows
On the bottom right at the end of your screen, there is usually what looks like a 'speaker' icon
if you left click on that icon; you will see another speaker in an elongated popup that lets you adjust sound.
If you want to mute, left click on the speaker you see at the bottom of that box.
You can also go to your start menu, left click it;
left click control panel;
left click hardware and sound;
left click adjust system volume;
left click the 'speaker' icon under device (speakers and headphones)
It will mute the computer.
Let me know how this worked out for you. If my solution helped you, please rate this solution!
It doesn't cost anything and only takes a second, but it is greatly appreciated.
