Question about HP Compaq nc6000 Notebook

Base system device and video controller

I have formatted my laptop last month.but could not download vga and base system device i am fade up with this and does not have software cd.also i dont have any service center near by so please suggest me how to install my two program in my laptop by downloading from the internet.

    I formatted my Compaq nc6000 notebook and have not got the following devices.Base System device,Ethernet controller,multimedia audio controller,PCI modem and video controller.I was wondering where i can get them.Thanks.

I formatted Lenovo 3000 N200. Standard VGA Graphic adapter,Base System Device,Ethernet Controller & Video Controller drivers fail to work. Have tried to update it online several times but it fails....
have you installed all drivers support to it? do you have a cd driver? if yo have cd driver just install it, but if you didn't have a driver just download it from the website..just go to http://www-947.ibm.com/systems/support/pc/

My drive crashed so i installed a new hard drive, and used the disks provided to install windows xp,and drivers, but I'm noticing that the following drivers did not install, the base system device,...
Try to manually update the drivers.
Go to Settings/Control Panel/System
Hardware tab
Then Device Manager
Click on one and update.
Let the OS search the CD with the drivers.
(You may have to navigate to the correct directory)

If this fails you will have to go to the DELL website and download the drivers for your machine.

Don't you have support cd for your system?Know your product model and go to website then download all necessary driver that corresponds to your unit.Im sure this will cure your problem.

Ethernet controllers not working
right click on the yello sign and right click, select update driver. if it does not solves your problem then go to the website of your laptop manufacturer and download the drivers for your model

Problems with hardware dvices....says needs drivers
link for M2000 notebook. Choose the OS you have and download all updates.

Download eversesthome and run check the + sign by mother board click on chipset and download chipset updates by googleing them.
The north bridge controller is pci,agp,usb,etc. the southbridge is audio and audio controller.
