Connect them to the door hinges and to the bottom floor panel of the dryer. You will have to take off the bottom front panel and then you will see the holes they connect to.Hope this was helpful.

see this and fix it. God bless you

Check to see whether there's power getting to the dryer. Is it plugged in? If you plug something else into the outlet, does it work? If not, check for a blown fuse or tripped circuit breaker.

Door Switch

If the door switch or the door-switch actuator is defective, the dryer won't work and you need to replace the failed component. The switch is inside the dryer main housing near the door frame. Sometimes you need to raise or open the top or front of the dryer to reach the switch. Check for continuity you should have none with door open, and should have a reading when closed. If not replace the door switch.

Thermal Fuse / Thermal Cut out

On many dryers, there's a thermal fuse (a heat-sensitive fuse that blows if the dryer overheats) mounted to the exhaust duct inside the back cover panel or behind the front panel. The fuse is about an inch long. It's usually embedded in black resin and mounted in a white plastic housing or is sometimes round and made of metal and plastic.

If the fuse has blown, it has no continuity. When this happens, your dryer either just stops heating, or it doesn't work at all. Be sure to inspect the venting/heating system before replacing the fuse this is the most common reason for blowing the fuse. (You can't re-set this type of fuse.)

Wiring

Often the main wiring connection from the house, at the dryer, burns and the connection breaks. In this has happened to your dryer, you need to replace the power cord and the terminal block inside the dryer to which the wire is attached.

when you removed the screen from the inside you disconnected the wires from the 2 metal strips. now you need to remove the lower panel on the front. and reconnect them. you will need a T-20 torx and unplug the dryer to be safe. the wire will have 90 degree push on connectors and it does not have any polarity concerns. the two male connectors are real close to the top of the panel, maybe even slightly under the other panel. How do you replace the drive belt in a kenmore dryer model 88042

Pull the fron off. Remove tub, should have a spring loaded idler pulley next to the motor. Make sure that it is not broke and spins freely. Also check tub support rolers on each side. They shoule spin freely. If ok, put belt around tub, install tu. Put belt around spring loaded pulley. May need a hand holding tub while you install pulley. Put front on. Make sure the fron of cover fits inside the tub seal. Good luck. email me with issues, bobby.crochet@lyondellbasell,com.

How to install new door spring on portable dishwasher

Things You'll Need:
  • Owner's manual
  • Screwdriver
  • Replacement spring (optional)
  1. Turn off the power to your Kenmore dishwasher before attempting any repairs. If you have a portable Kenmore dishwasher, you can just unplug the power cord from the wall. Built-in dishwashers are hard-wired into the cabinet, so you will have to turn off the breaker switch at the home's circuit breaker box to cut the power.
  2. 2 Remove the screws that hold the kickplate onto the lower front of the Kenmore dishwasher. Take the kickplate off to access the door springs.
  3. Check the door springs to make sure they have not come loose from the door support or the adjustment holes on the dishwasher. Re-attach any ends that have slipped off their connections.
  4. Replace the springs if they are connected at both ends but still do not have enough tension to support the weight of the door. Once a Kenmore dishwasher door spring is stretched out, it cannot be restored to its original condition. Unhook one end of the old spring from the adjustment hole. Unhook the other end from the door support and discard the spring. Insert one end of the replacement spring into the adjustment hole and the other end into the hook on the door support.
  5. Open and close the door a few times to make sure the spring is now working properly. The door should not bounce up and down or sag on the hinges when it is in the open position.
  6. Restore power to your Kenmore dishwasher by plugging it back in or turning on the switch at the home's circuit breaker panel.

Yes, but check the breaker first. turn off/on to check. Remove the screws at the lint filter. remove fint filter. Use a thin putty knife at thr front between the top and door support to depress the spring clips holding the lid down, one at a time pull each side to disengage clip. Lift lid. The door switch is above the door inside under the lid. ALWAYS UNPLUG BEFORE WORKING ON ELECTRIC APPLIANCES.
