I need help on installing logitech quickcam v-ugb35 with windows 7 Ult

If your windows 7 system is set up as 32 bit instead of 64, that's why it doesn't work. according to the logitech website that camera will only work with windows 7 in 64 bit mode...otherwise it won't.

My friend can hear me but I can't hear them

It's either he doesn't have a working microphone in the webcam, or, if he does, he needs to select the input device in the audio settings of the communication program you are using.

I purchased the Logitech HD720p and think it came with a CD to download. I have a new laptop. Is there an online download so I can use my webcam.

Hi,

What you have listed is not the model number but the quality.

I have provided a link below to the Logitech download page for webcams. You camera should be on here.

Yes, you can try to plug the camera in without the disk and it will most likely work, but if it doesn't work you can download the driver from Logitech's website.

Alright so I have a Logitech webcam C160 and I've used it plenty of times now and I've taken good care of it. The problem is when I plug it in and go to use it, the green light flashes then turns...

I would go to control panel, bring up devices, and attempt to rollback driver, reboot and test. If this did not work, verify there are not two drivers assigned to port - open device manager again off System, then check device drivers. if two - remove the second one. If still does not work remove all drivers, uninstall all software through the add/remove programs, remove device, install software, plug in device, then reboot again.

Is there any way to adjust the mike on logitech webb cam

First of all make your webcam the default mic on your computer
Plug in webcam

TEST SPEAKERS
Right click on speaker icon in System Tray or from Control Panel
Select "Playback Devices"
The speaker icon ( checked as working) and volume level graph should be visible
Right click on the volume graph and click "Test"
Left hand speakers followed by right hand should be heard

SET DEFAULT & TEST MIC
Click "Recording" tab.
To set required (webcam) mic as default - click on mic font to highlight and click "Properties"
In lower dropbox display "Use this device enable" click 'OK'
Click "Levels" tab and ramp up sliders ( adjust to suit later)
Return to "Recording". Test mic by speaking and make sure volume graph displays

RESTART COMPUTER ( IMPORTANT )
You can now adjust the mic by clicking on the speaker icon down in the notification area ( by the clock )
If its not there - right click on the lower task bar ( a blank area) and select 'Properties' click 'Notification area) and check the box for 'volume' > Apply > OK

During the webcam software upload you may not have opted for the Logitech shortcut on your desktop - if so > Start > All Programs - locate the logitech folder and expand it - right click on the logitech software ( with the webcam icon) and select ' Send to - Desktop create shortcut'

Plug in your webcam
Launch the webcam dashboard (toolbar) by double-clicking the shortcut icon and open the 'Settings' menu ( 2 gearwheels)
Select the mic icon to make any changes

Webcam is not showing any video at all!

Connect your webcam
Launch the logitech webcam toolbar from your desktop or if you chose not to install the shortcut - launch it from "All programs" or from your C drive - Programs and files.

Open the Quick Capture menu (2 film frames pic)
Check your image here
If it shows white - you have a logitech/computer software problem
If its OK you have failed to configure it correctly to whatever program you are using it in.

Did you install the support software required to run Logitech cameras - Directx 10 ?

Webcam didn't work

You do not say how far you got or what the problem was.
The Logitech webcam has a good support system
Once the software is downloaded you should have a toolbar dedicated to your webcam, launched from a desktop shortcut icon or from 'All programs'
Make sure you do not plug the webcam in until prompted to do so.
Try this
Disconnect the webcam
Uninstall any webcam software
Restart computer
Visit the Logitech support website ( below ) Identify your webcam - click on it and download the software - make sure you select the correct OS for your computer
