There is a separate breaker/disconnect which is located by the unit, usually on the side of the house. if it all good then you will need to open the unit up and check at the contactor for you voltage on all three legs, if it is present then check to see if you are getting power to the coil to energize the unit( on the top back), if so then push in contactor and it unit comes on then the coil is bad and you will need a new contactor. hope this helped Tim

My lg split system model is LMS304V-4. the fan inside turns on for 3 minutes then turns off but the compressor does not cut in at all. the green light on the left of the panel inside blinks 5 times stops...

I could not find the model number listed in your inquiry, but a lot of LG minispits use the 5 blinking light for indication of poor communication between inside and outside units. Try this before replacing control boards. Power down the outside unit. Remove the cover for the control wiring and loosen and retighten the 4 wire going into the inside unit. Then go in and remove the shroud cover for the inside unit and find the other end of the control wires and loosen and retighten them. Sometimes over time corrosion builds up and causes loss of signal and the lack of proper signal during communication is similar to someone talking to you while you are listening to loud music while wearing a headset. You cannot hear what is being said because to much noise. Remove the cover on the outside unit and see if it has a white reset button. If it does have a reset button after you have performed steps above, try restoring power and pressing the reset button. If it does not have a reset button, it should automatically reset when power is turned back on. If these steps do not help you will probably have to replace the control board on the condensing unit.
Hope this helps.

Where is reset button on my outside a/c unit

If you are talking about the condensor that sits outside, there are high pressure and low pressure devices that have a red button on the top of them, turn off power and push the button. They are sometines located inside the unit under the fan. Generally there are none and the unit has internal overloads that kick it out. they reset themselves after the compressor cools down. If it resets after cooling down then ask yourself why it got hot. use a hose and clean the coils around the unit.sometimes helps. make sure fan is running on the condensor outside. It should come on first.

Fridge compressors have a start capacitor that is required to power the motor windings on start up . outside near or on the sealed unit you may find a reset button. Try that or try replacing the start capacitor

I walked across my carpet to reset the temperature on my Totaline P/N P474-1050 thermostat. When I touched the thermosat, there was an arc of electricity. The screen went blank and does not respond to any...

There are two options for this. You can try turing all the power off the the unit completely. The inside and outside unit and give it 30 seconds and turn it back on. This may reset it. Chances are you just burned it up. I hate this for you...
Hope it helps.

The fan on the Ruud furnice unit runs all the time but the Ruud ac unit is not kicking on . I know nothing about any of this but would like some Ideas what I might check. I went outside and could not find...

Some Ruuds have a red rubber cap reset button on the bottom of the unit or inside. Usually the fan quits and trips the switch. Or look at the metal run cap with 3 leads on it, if it looks bulged(concave on top) and not flat and sunk in, replace that and ur good to go. Let me know. Please pull the power disconnect if you attack the cap, and write down what leads come off which terminals. azeddysac@yahoo.com

Do rheem air conditoner hair a reset button

The older unit have a High pressure reset at the outside unit, About center bottom by the copper lines. Push to see if it starts. If it resets you may have a dirty condensor coil. Wash good with water hose. Turn power to outside unit of first.

Garmin c550 GPS-Won't turn on at all.

push and Hold the power button down while you push reset, keep power button pressed til it boots again. If it does not, and it's in warranty ship it to garmin. If it's out of warranty, have someone open it up and remove the battery for a couple of minutes.

Comtrend ct507 no power

- try to use a known working power adapter with the same specs, it might be the power adapter is not supplying enough power, or
- try to press the reset button (if it has one) for like 30 secs, then turn the device off for another 30 secs. (Note: this might delete all the settings on the device)
- most probably the device is dead if same thing happens after pressing the reset button.

hope this'll help you
