You'll need a Windows install disc to install Windows on your machine. If your computer came preinstalled with Windows, you can try contacting your vendor and they may be able to give you a free copy or a discounted copy of Windows. If it did not, you'll need to purchase a CD.

Once you have the CD just put it into your computer. If Windows OS is not yet installed, you will automatically boot from CD ROM and will go through Windows setup wizard.

If Windows is already installed on the computer and you want a fresh installation, you will need to hold F8, F12, F2, or ESC as the computer boots, the actual key differs by manufacturer. This will allow you to choose to boot from HDD, CD ROM, USB Drive, etc. Choose to boot from CD ROM and you can go through the Windows setup wizard.

Thank you for using FixYa!

Forgot my admin. password how can i get passit and reset it

If you forgot the password of system, the official answer is NO, there is no way to get the password back. However, if you have other user account who has Administrator right, such as Domain Admin account if the computer joins domain, you may try to use this user account to login to the computer and then reset the local administrator password. If no, you have to reinstall the system.

By the way, you can unplug the hard disk and then connect it to another computer to back up your data in C: drive, reinstallation will not affect the data in other drive if you don't format them.

I forgot my transcend 64 Gb storejet password

YOU can't. Password was used to encrypt your stored data. Find the "masterkey" password of the software first.

Your can low level format the HDD but you will lose all data.

I have an aspire one acer computer and I forgot the password ... is there anyway to recover or change password without lossing anything??

Disconnecting and reconnecting the Complementary Metal Oxide Semiconductor (CMOS)/Real Time Clock (RTC) battery can work to clear Basic input output System (BIOS) passwords in some models. The CMOS/RTC battery on portable computers can sometimes be accessed by opening one of the small compartments underneath but, more often than not needs the computer to be disassembled. On many portable computers, removing and replacing the CMOS/RTC battery has no effect on the BIOS password because the BIOS memory is archived in BIOS-related capacitors which retain a charge even if the computer is disconnected from the mains electricity or has its battery removed.

If the forgotten password is an Operating System Password then you really only have 4 choices:

Try to recall the password;

Use another computer to download password recovery software, burn a password recovery tool stored on a flash drive or a CD (depending on what the BIOS will allow) and use that to find and enable you to clear or change the password to something more memorable (see below for websites);

Remove the hard disk drive (HDD) and use another computer to connect it to and back any important data up to the computer or another storage device, then reinstall the HDD to the original computer and reinstall a fresh copy of the Operating System (O/S), drivers and programs;

Or (if no important data was stored on the HDD), just go ahead and wipe everything on it by installing a fresh O/S, drivers and programs.

What's your problem?lockedout of my computer

It depends what type of computer it is and what type of password you are talking about. If it is a Basic Input Output System (BIOS) password and the computer is a desktop PC, then all you have to do is disconnect the power cable and other cables, open the computer and then remove the flat silver Complementary Metal Oxide Semiconductor (CMOS) or Real Time Clock (RTC) battery for a few minutes to clear the BIOS cache of its memory, then replace it, close the computer, reconnect the cables and then start the computer again.
If your computer is a laptop, notebook or netbook, the removing the CMOS/RTC battery can also work to clear BIOS passwords in some models.
If the password is an Operating System Password then you really only have 4 choices. Either try to remember the password, use another computer to download password recovery software, burn a password recovery tool stored on a flash drive or a CD (depending on what the BIOS will allow) and use that to find and enable you to clear or change the password to something more memorable; remove the hard disk drive (HDD) and use another computer to connect it to and back any important data up to the computer or another storage device, then reinstall the HDD to the original computer and reinstall a fresh copy of the Operating System, drivers and programs or (if no important data was stored on the HDD) to just go ahead and wipe everything on it by doing a fresh Operating System, drivers and programs installation.

I forgot password how can i use

This is hard to answer without knowing what operating system you are referring to.

If you are using windows XP you can try logging on with

Username: Administrator
no password

The go in to the control panel and reset a password for the user you want to log in with.

Log out and log back in.

When you format something you WILL lose all of the data that was there. I would also recomend upgradeing to XP, 2000, or NT. You may need to reinstall the OS. If you need instructions ask me and I can help.
