Sounds like a defrost failure.
Look on the back wall of the freezer from the inside.
If it is covered in ice your defrost system has failed.
Also check the fan motor in the freezer.
If it is not running it must be replaced.

My refrigerator isn't cold enough even though I have turned to coldest setting. Do you have guidance? LTrhine@gmail.com

I will tell you to check and see if you have any airflow coming into refrigerator section...if not, check freezer fan..most of these are defrost problems..ice builds up on freezer coil..remove freezer panel...if froze up, defrost with hair dryer from top to bottom..this will give you temp service..but, there still is a defrost problem..it could be heater, timer, or defrost thermostat. if you have a multi-meter you can check heater resistence and if ok, its either the timer or defrost thermostat

Freezer section is working but refridge not very cold.

check the vent that lets air from the freezer goes to the refrigerator. A control knob operates the amount of opening through the vent with a flap. makes the flap is not stuck, and responds to the knob, this is all mechanically link.

Amana bottom freezer problem

It sounds like the condenser coil might be freezing up. This happened to me on my bottom freezer. The cooling part of your fridge is only in the back of the freezer compartment. The cold air from the freezer blows up through a vent in the back to the fridge and comes out at the top. If the coils do not defrost (which is what happened with mine) the air flow is blocked by the ice and can't get to the fridge compartment. Your freezer will still be cold but your fridge won't. If you pull the plug on it and time things right you can defrost the coils but this will only postpone the problem. Both will work for awhile again until the coils ice up again. You can also pull out the freezer drawere and try to defrost the coil with a blow dryer. You have to disconnect the icemaker and pull out the back panel behind the freezer to get to it though.

My refigerator and freezer are not cooling enough

You could call for service. It is commonly possible that there was a loss of gas, or the thermostat is defective, or the compressor is weak. The refridgeration service man should be able to check for all of this.
