If you don't have the wireless password for your wireless connection. The thing to do is log into the Router's webpage via the Router's IP address. From there you can go to the wireless section and in most routers this section shows the wireless password.

If you have trouble getting on to the Router's webpage. Just comment back on this and I can probably step you through it.

Can't get internet connection to my lap top.ps i have a desk top.

Is your laptop wireless adapter correctly configured? It may be set to only recieve certain types of signals (802.11b, when you may beed 802.11g etc), so check if the configuration of the laptop matches the configuration of the router.

To test if the laptop can get internet at all, try to get to a wired internet line (your wireless router may have some Ethernet ports on the back; laptops usually have Ethernet connectivity), just incase your laptop is set to block all internet signals coming in.

Hope this helps!

My 13 year old has passworded her lap top and now cant remember the passwords how can i unlock this for her any help would be great dee

Try holding CTRL ALT DELETE key combination three times when you get the login screen.

This should open a login box.

Enter user : Administrator and blank password.

If this does not work, you usually need to have windows reinstalled when you lose the password.

Hello,

If it says "Working Offline" in the corner. You just need to un-check that feature.

To do this, open Internet explorer and either click File in the top left corner or Tools in the upper right. Then click the option "Work Offline" so that it it not checked.

After that, verify that you have the browser set to use a LAN connection by clicking Tools > Internet Options > Connections and then choose "Never Dial a Connection" then choose OK. Then you will need to close and reopen the browser.

That should allow you surf web pages again.

Thanks
