All of the connections to the rebuilt electronic control panel are solid and the panel is getting power as the clock, timer, and oven light functions are operational.

I have not inspected the back of the touch screen control (#1678 on the schematic diagram). Does it contain a plug in receptical for the harness which connects to the electronic control panel?

I removed the control panel and inspected the back of the touch panel and the ribbon connector running to the control panel. Ribbon looks OK. All wires are firmly plugged in to their correct receptacles. Still have the same problem. The wiring harness from the control panel to the oven connects to what looks like a relay panel on the back wall of the oven. Could this panel have anything to do with the problem?

The control buttons connections from control panel board has to be checked.Either the new control board circuit is getting short or the connecting ribbon cable from button panel ( key pad) to control board is got loose. Remove the control panel board and recheck the board and its connections. If possible get the power checked to the control panel board and the key pad panel. This will help confirming the faulty.Either loose connection or fault in new control panel board.---------- Thanks.Helpmech.

Yes there is a ribbon cable from touch pad to the control board. If that cable is short or its got loose, then few functions will not work.As the timer, clock and lights directly get power from control board and bake , broil etc etc functions gets operated via touch pad to control board. So if touch pad is short or its connection to control board is loose then few function will not work properly or will work intermittently.

Getting the touch pad ribbon cable and connections to electronic control board will help.---------

Yes very much possible that relay panel causing the problem. All the functions on the control panel board are controlled by relay. If any of the relay is getting short, then that particular function will not work. For example if light controlling relay is short then light will not work but other functions will work.--------
But in this problems, replacing the faulty relay, without replacing the complete relay panel board is bit difficult. In most of the cases the relay control panel itself needs to be replaced. But still check the faulty relay, if its showing no continuity or its checked out shorted or loose then it can be replaced by local appliance repair tech. But if that is not helping the complete relay panel needs to be replaced.------------ This will help.Thanks.Helpmech.

What is wrong with my Whirlpool Double Wall Oven-Mod RBD305PDB8? Control Panel is blank. Light & timer works. Nothing else. Breaker ok.

This is a symptom of a common control board failure. Although your board has been discontinued by Whirlpool, your original EOC electronic oven control can be rebuilt. See here for details:

Oven is not working its 5 years frigdare electronic elements are ok

Try setting clock before presuming board is faulty, ovens shouldn't work if clock is flashing or timer is counting down or bell symbol flashing. Consult your instructions

When I turn on the wall oven it will not heat up, the light doesn't come on

If the oven element or the indicator light don't come on it sounds like a timer problem. I assume the oven has an electronic timer/clock. The timer must be in manual mode for the oven to work. If so, turn the oven ON. Then operate the clock/timer buttons to get it in the manual mode. Be patient. When the oven indicator light comes on it is in manual mode.

GE Wall Oven Model # JKP07G0D2BG - The clock has quit working. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

I assume the display for the clock/timer is now blank. If the oven is still working the only thing you are missing is the clock. If you can't do without it you will need a new clock.
Most of the time the clock/timer stops working it affects the operation of the oven, the oven won't work. If this is the case you will need a new timer unless you can do without the clock/timer. If so a repairman should be able to bypass the clock with ease so that the oven will operate without the clock/timer.

My GE wall Oven Model #jctp18ba1bb is not working.the board is blankm the only thing that works is the oven light. Is there any kind of thermal fuses etc. in this oven.thge control board was replaced 8...

When you say board I assume you mean the electronic clock/timer. This timer directly affects the oven operation. Even if the internal oven fuse is blown or the thermal overload is tripped the electronic timer and oven light will always work. If the oven light works and the electronic timer/clock does not I'd say that the timer/clock is faulty.

GE JBP45G oven display module keeps on showing ''PF'', whether I turn oven on or off.Have to constantly reset clock to make the ''PF'' message dissapear. My broiler element is not working, but why is ''PF''...

I can easily explain the "PF". It means your EOC or electronic oven control/timer is losing power for some reason, hence the "PF", for power failure.

I`d suspect the control itself is defective or at fault as they have built in transformer`s that can become faulty.

I would first insure your power supply cord is secure and in good condition in the wall or you don`t have loose wires going to the timer.

Hope that help`s move you forward, let me know if I can assist you further.

Good luck.

Try unplugging the oven and let sit for 10 min. This will reset the curcuit board and reboot the electronics. You may have to pull out the stove o get to the cord.

I need a replacemnt Time clock unit for GE Doubleoven JKP39G0K2BG

Part number is good...WB19X5280 and while it is no longer available in new, there are companies out there on the net that can actually rebuild your electronic control. Cost would be somewhere around one hundred dollars. Search the net for electronic clocks rebuilt. You will save a range and bake many more cakes once repair is made. Good Luck. If I can help further...
