LG re-44sz21rd Put a new bulb in 2 days ago Working fine then today switched it on & just orange light flashing & can hear it starting up & blank screen, then it turns itself off to RED light. What could it be ? Many Thanks

Make sure the bulb is really seated exactly right. If in doubt, remove it and do it over. Often they feel right but aren't truly correct and the connection will go bad after a few uses and heating/cooling cycles.

capacitor may be or so the click mean theres cap are leakink or get dry that why is so long to power on.

It might be worth checking that you haven't accidently activated the tv's sleep timer, I did on my LG DLP !!. always check the obvious first.

This is vcaused by a relay similar to a fluro/ neon light starter switch. This part has failed so it cannot get syncronization You will neede to have a serviceman replace this part.

Your Tv requires the lamp hours to be re-set. You will need to acess the Service mode settings via a service remote from your authorised LG service agent. Can be done onsite, depending on the company.

TV is tempremental switching on!


I had the same problem ,is it plugged into a single socket outlet or a power board? If a power board it can cause problems, try plugging straight into the socket on its own and see how it goes.
