Where do I go to change router channel?

You can find the user manual for your router here:
http://www.dlink.com/products/?pid=DIR-655&tab=3

To change the channel, look on page 10 of the user manual for directions on how to access the web interface of the router.
Once you get logged-in to the router, you can then go to page 22 to change the settings for the channel. You'll want to disable "Enable Auto Channel Scan" and choose 802.11g as the "802.11 Mode". Then choose the channel you require from the "Wireless Channel" selection.

My Dell laptop does not connect easily to d-link WBR 2310 router

2 wireless laptops are connecting. that means the router must be working properly. Only 1 laptop is not connecting.
Try to change the wireless channel on the router.
For this you will need to open the set up page of the router.
Is there any computer connected to the router ? If not then you will need to connect the computer to the router and open the set up page. Under wireless settings try to change the wireless channel on the router and see if that works.

My phones run with 2. Ghz frecuency so when I used my inalambric phones get disconnected from the web, how can I solve this problem I have a router model F5D 7230-4

On all wireless routers there are channel settings. If you phone is on the same channel, you may have problems with the router. Also make sure your base station to your phone is not next to the router. Its radio waves may cause interference. First thing to try is to change the channel number for your wireless router. See the attached link for your router information and how to change the channel.

Good Luck.

I recently bought a Dell laptop that has B+G wireless networking. Should my 2300 router work with this computer? I am having trouble getting a signal to my work area.

yes you can work with it.

If you face problem in gettings signal strength then you need to change frequency channel in router.
for that access your router with following link
If it is not in netwrok then connect your router to computer with ethernet cable.
Then access thisd link http://192.168.1.1
or
http://192.168.0.1
type user name as "admin" and password as."admin" or blank or "password"

then if you cannot access it then you have to reset your router to factory defauls settings.
For reset you have to press RESET button for 10 seconds it is in back side of router .

then access with above link
then go to wi fi and change channel type to 4 or 6 or 11 try 1 by 1 then save settings in router then restart bot computer and router to then check signal strength set that channel which give you high signal.

D link D524. No range.

You need to change the Wireless Channel on your wireless router. Open the router's setup page by going to http://192.168.0.1. It will prompt you for username and password. By default username is admin and password is password or no password. When you have the router's setup page opened, look for wireless tab and look for Wireless Channel. You must change it to 11 or 6 or 1 then save the settings. You can play around with the channel and find out which one gives you better signal. If you're still having low signal range, try to reset the router back to factory defaults by pressing the reset button at the back of the router for 30 seconds and do a power cycle. Just reconfigure the router after resetting it.

Wbr 2310

By default the channel is set to 6. The Channel can be changed to fit the channel setting for an existing wireless network or to customize the wireless network. The Auto Channel Scan setting can be selected to allow the WBR-2310 to choose the channel with the least amount of interference.

hello!

-- what is the exact model number of your router?
-- what is the operating system of your computer?
-- are you trying to change the channel wirelessly or directly connected to the router?

1. make sure that your computer is directly connected to the router while changing the channel to avoid frequent disconnection.
