I'm not sure what device you're working with, but in most cases with a dead battery it's often cheaper to just buy a new device. What is the model you're working with?

Coby Kryos Android Tablet is not charging. It is connected to a charger but its not charging.

Leave the tablet connected to the charger for 5-10 minutes even if doesn\'t work. Then take out the battery and try with master charger and (switch on the tablet) after that, check whether the previous charger is working again or not again. If it doesn\'t show charging sign, then you have to take it to service center to change the charger connector.

Battery doesn't hold charge for more than a week

All batteries will eventually fail to hold a charge. The battery chemistry and how you charge it can change how long the battery will last. The DMC-FS4 has a Lithium-ion battery so it shouldn't have as much of the memory issue of older rechargeable batteries. (This is the "you routinely recharge the battery when it's at 50% then it always stops working at 50% charge" problem.)

How old is your battery? Eventually you will need a new battery but the time to replacement will depend on the number of recharge cycles. With a Li-ion battery, I'd expect several thousand recharges before failure. Temperature and usage will effect this. The battery does lose charge even when not used.

Be careful, some versions of the firmware look for Panasonic's specific batteries or a "that match the Panasonic rigorous specs".

I've seen a few devices where the charger failed before the battery. If a new battery doesn't seem to be charging, replace the charger. I hope this helps.

After jumper not charging charger not suuported

Many new chargers are digital devices that can detect battery issues such as bad cells so it then doesn't give out any current so have battery tested. Many times if a good solid connection via cable boosters and leaving the charging car idling awhile connected up to ur battery doesn't boost the battery it's bec the battery is no good.

My laptop doesn't charge it's battery, but indicates battery charging when the system is running. Model: CQ 61, motherboard by foxconn

Chances are the batter is bad. Did you just purchase the notebook? You may want to try swapping the battery in your laptop with the other laptop you tested the adapter on. If you do need a new battery, here is a link

The altinator is missing ground, any time you remove the battery and the engine dies, that only means that the altinator is not charging, there has to be a fuse for charging systme.

Battery doesn"t charge

I don't see how this is related to the float?
With the engine running, measure output voltage from the alternator/charger at the battery. It should be about 13.5 vDC. It should increase a little bit with higher revs. If voltage doesn't change with engine running vs. engine off then you probably have a bad alternator which probablly has to be replaced or repaired by a service shop.

Battery been changed twice and after a week or two the battery will run down again

then your alternator doesn't work, that's why it doesn't charge the battery. If you wan't to know if this is the reason you can try this:
Start your engine, connect a multimeter on the propper battery terminals to test voltage level, with your car still on it must have around 13.5 to 14 volts. Turn on your lights and air conditioning it should not descend more than 13 volts. If it's less than 13 volts then your alternator doesn't work and it has to be changed.
Some people does this other test but is not recommendable: Start your car remove ground terminal if the car remains on, then the alternator is ok (If you have a tester I would recommend the first method)
