Remove the front cover panel and on the side with the controls there should be a small reset button. See if it is popped out. If so push it in and if it stays then try to start unit. If it trips rest again then you may need to get a electrician to see if the rotor on thecompressor is locked up in which case you will need replacement. Thank you.

The compressor is stopping on overload. There is either a weak breaker or an electrical problem causing the overload to open the circuit and stop the compressor. It has to be taken apart to determine what is or is not going on.

A/C UNIT FANS BLOWS NO COLD AIR COMPRESSOR KICKS ON THEN OFF

check fins in the condenser coils (the fins on the outside part) for obstructions or alot of bent fins. should be free and clear. but chances are the freon level is low. can be serviced, but may be cheaper to replace.

What type of thermostat are you using? When was the last time it worked ? Do you just get fan on cool mode, or does fan only run on fan mode?

AC WON'T COOL

Sounds like you have a freon leak or your compressor has stopped working. You will probably need a service tech. If it is out of freon, don't let them just add more freon, make them find and repair the leak first. Good Luck.
