Our dehumidier is running but there is not water in the tray???

If the machine's compressor runs when you switch it on, then turn the machine on maximum and let it run for an hour or so. Then check the coils in the back with your hand. If they are not getting cold at all, then there is a significant problem with the refrigeration process in the unit. It may have developed a leak and allowed your refrigerant gas to escape, or there may be another internal problem with the compressor. Either way you would need to have it serviced by a fridge technician, or more likely just replaced with a whole new unit since both options can potentially cost about the same.

If the unit runs normally and the coils are getting cold, then make sure they are not totally icing up which will impede the unit's performance. If your dehumidifier is freezing up then that probably means it is actually working well. The humidity level in the room may be relatively low and you probably have the unit turned up too high for the conditions.

Try turning down the setting on the unit so that it cycles on and off every few hours and does not run continuously.

Also try using some warm soapy water to clean off any dust or oily residue from the cooling coils in the rear of the unit. Remember to also clean the air intake filter while you are at it.

The ambient temperature in the room may also be a bit too low, so you can try adding some heat to the room if necessary. A dehumidifier will not work properly if the ambient air temperature is too low. Basically, the warmer and more humid the room is, the better they work.Since warm air rises, you can even try lifting the unit higher up off the cold floor onto a bench or table where the air is warmer.

Foodsaver vacuum sealer tray full light


Clean the two little contacts on the tray. Make absolutely sure there isn't anything across the two wires that run the length of the tray. It doesn't take much to trigger the light.

Shampooer does not distribute foam


It usually means you have no filter or a defective filter in your shampooer hose,or your not using kirby shampoo.

How do you use the rainbow to **** up a large amount of water from an air conditioner tray


You simply begin with an empty water basin, turn the unit on, and gingerly slurp the water away. Do not plunge the nozzle into a pool of water. Afterall, this is a vacuum cleaner, it moves air and the water/debris you kick-up into the air, not a water pump. The standard basin has a maximum capacity of 2 quarts, before the unit effectively drowns. If you have the special larger basin, then it has a 4 quart capacity. If you are trying to remove a larger volume of water, then you will have to empty the water basin multiple times. Unfortunately, you have to keep a close eye on the water level, so that you do not drown the vacuum.

The tray full light stays on even though the tray is empty.this prevent the foodsaver from operating.I have tried unplugging,recleaning the tray but nothing works


I had the save problem with my 3400 series.
The first time i was able to let it dry and it worked alright (48 hours).
The second time even this did not work.
If you remove the screws on the bottom of the unit. There are about 10 and pull it down, you will see the sealer assembly and a small circuit board in the middle.
Trace the wires from the drip tray, there are three of them, red white and brown, to the small white plastic JST connector on the small circuit board. Pull said connector gently to disconnect it.
The unit will function perfectly now, although it will no longer have a drip tray sensor of any sort it will function every time all the time.
All in all this took me about 10 minutes.

Roomba does not fill upper tray.


brushes are not turning, you can see this if you remove dust bin and start the roomba, remove brushes clean thoroughly removing yellow end pieces as well to remove trapped hair, re inbstall brushes and turn manually about 20 turns and re try cleaning, try this a couple of times

Shampoo does not sud

My Kirby shampooer - G4 - hardly used any water from the tank and no suds at all. Pet hair did blow out of the small slotted holes in the tray as I moved the shampooer back and forth, but the carpet was...


Few things:
Make sure the sponge and the valve under the sponge (water tank) is clean.
Make sure you follow the instructions (f you do not have the manual you can find one HERE)
See if the straw inside the water tank is not clogged (happens when you use toilet tissue or some other paper to dry inside of the tank after you shampoo)

Noise - if it is noisy al the time - it may need new shampooer brush roll. Also check the tray - bar brush roll bearings overheat and melt the tray... Never submerse brush roll in water when cleaning it. Clean it simply by lifting the shampooer nozzle and letting it spin for 10-20 seconds. If you have tu put it under running water - put it back in the shampooer nozzle (with tray and shield) put on Kirby and turn it on for 20 seconds or so. If it stays soaken wet - moisture damages barings.

Steamvac drips when tilt to pull back


May have a problem with the seal at the bottom of the tank, the valve and seal sometimes go back and need to be replaced(#43513026).
