TOSHIBA Satellite A665-S6065 fan issues

The fan is probably going bad and will stop one day. Once the fan stops your computer will shut down due to overheating. Keep an eye on it.

My laptop make unusual sound while ruuning and it again stops for some time and again makes it.

It's probably the fan. The fan will come on and go off as needed. Also, sometimes the fan and hard drive can make noises.

My toshiba plasma tv gets really hot, very fast! what do i do?

Do you hear the fan running?
Add a fan blowing into the rear of the TV and see if that helps.
Your fan may have stopped working.

The cooling fan is not working

THe shutting down is your laptop's thermal protection. It is trying to keep the CPU from being destroyed.  You should stop using it until you fix it, or you will destroy it.
The fans are not hard to replace and toshiba disassembly is fairly straight forward. Just get your #1 and #2 phillips head screw drivers and pay attention to how you take it apart.
Call Toshiba and order replacement fans for your laptop as they will not set you back very much.

Toshiba cooling system

If u have a laptop (that's what i found out that toshiba Qosmio is ) then is no problem that the fans stop (as long as the temp. is within the normal working margins ). U might have a setting problem - a bad software, managing the cooling system; - a bad BIOS setting regarding system temperature protection; - or the temperature detectors malfunctions, and must be changed (if possible)

Cooling fan stop working

Hi,
It's normal for the fan to stop and start, as needed. However, it sounds as if the heat sink attached to the processor and fan may be clogged with dust/fuzz/hair, etc. If you can, vacuum or blow air back through the ventilation ports to clear the debris.
This usually causes the fan to run constantly. It's possible that you need to adjust the power management settings in control panel-toshiba power management.
Also, try keeping the laptop in a cool place and see if it makes a difference.
Let me know how it works.
Good luck

Fan stopped

If the fan has stopped, then the processor will overheat. Most vendors have protection so that a non-working fan is detected and the unit will not power up with detecting its rotation. Seems like a repair shop job I'm afraid.
