What is the error message? are u using itune on your computer and detect your ipod connected with usb cable? then you can load a song into itune, then you may need to right click on that song in the list and select to synchronize it to ipod or something. sometimes it is digital signature stuff which prevent it to be copied to players for copy right. u may confirm with the song seller about that. let me know if the issue persists i will post more.

SOURCE: cant load music on ipod nano

Did you perform a software upgrade on you NANo before this happened? The latest firmware is supposedly having a ton of bugs. The simplest resolution for this is to connect your Nano to your PC , open iTunes and use the restore option to restore the device to the previously installed firmware. Hopefully this will resolve the issue. Post back if its not fixed so that we can try something else.

SOURCE: Songs shown loaded on the iPod on my computer, but iPod is empty

Well first I have a question that may seem silly. Are you using iTunes? If not you will need to start doing so. Apple designs the iPod to only work properly with itunes. There for many other media players may sync the ipod for a time but eventually it will stop working.
If so you may want to restore the iPod then attempt to re-sync everything. If this does not work you most likely have a hardware issue.
If any of this seems unclear or you need advice on how to perform these tasks please do let me know. :-)

Cant transfer from computer to ipod

A. You need to have iTunes installed on your computer. It's a free download from Apple. Load your CD's into iTunes or buy songs from the Apple iTunes Music Store. Connect your iPod and synch.

B. More information needed. Do you have songs on your iPod already? If so check the cable and the USB on your computer, try to connect to a different computer

Loading songs - format message

if you've used wmp to rip and encode the cd to the wma file standard, the ipod won't play them. the ipod doesn't support wma or ogg vorbis (and doesn't support the pro part of mp3 pro) you need to encode your files to either mp3 or aac (or leave them as wav files, though these are very large) for the ipod to play them. this may be causing the mmjb transfer problems.

check out the software compendium on info on alternatives to rip, encode and transfer to the ipod.

Ipod classic 80 GB wouldnt allow me to load music.. now it wont appear in itunes either

My classic won't sync at all. When I plug it into a USB port a screen comes up on my ipod saying "connected" then within seconds it's replaced by another screen that says "ejecting"

It works fine on my son's PC and my wifes Mac. Just not on mine. I have disabled the firewall. Tried all the various USB ports. I know cable is fine cause it works on other computers. I have latest in ITunes and have service pak 2 with XP. So needless to say I have tried everything I can think of to resolve this. HELP!!!!
