My zanussi dryer keeps stopping saying water needs emptied but it is always empty. The vent valve is always falling out is there supposed to be something to stop this?

I read the posts then checked my drier. I found the valve at the back of the water tank was blocked with fluff. So I tilted the dryer and unscrewed and removed the valve so I could remove the trapped fluff. Problem solved.:-)

Hi, I have a GE Monogram side by side refrigerator. Like many others, the ice maker works but not the water dispenser. I changed the water filter, but didn't help. Did the blow drier thing to unfreeze...

Those cylindrical shaped things with wires connected to it are solenoids. Each one with different purpose. One should be for the ice maker, and the other one for the water. It's best to have an assistant depress the water dispenser while you look back there if the solenoid opens the water valve at the bottom rear of the refrigerator. If the solenoid is bad, you would have to replace the whole solenoid assembly. The part itself cost at least one hundred dollars to about 170 dollars. You may also find out the cause of the leak while someone press the dispenser as you observe whats going on at the bottom rear of the unit. Good luck

Fabric conditioner tray is not empyting despite being thoroughly cleaned and water jets cleaned. Have also tried doing 3 very hot washes with empty machine

Hi from retired Englishman in SW France,
I hope you don't mind me saying so but often the softener dispensing siphon tube gets missed when cleaning the dispenser 'cos it's difficult to see!----------->
It will normally have some sort of cover over it which you must remove to expose the little stuck up pipe/tube. On some models there is just a small individual cap over the tube. The tube is down which the conditioner and water should siphon. It is likely to be blocked by 'gunge'- a mix of powder and conditioner. The whole of the tray, particularly this pipe and the bit which fits over it, must be completely clean and clear for it to operate correctly. It is worthwhile checking fairly regularly.
If this isn't the problem it could be that the water dispensing is not working correctly. It is easy to check by selecting (final?) rinse, pulling the drawer slightly out and seeing and hearing whether water is being fed into the softener tray. If is isn't then it is a call-out ;-0(
If this has assisted you please consider a 4 thumbs up for the rating.
Thanks and good luck!

Miele T358C dryer. water not being pumped out of the sump??

TRY THIS:
TRY THIS:
In some cases cleaning the condenser out and drying the unit well will allow the unit to function again. Once a month you need to empty the condenser unit, it is normal for there to be some water in the tubes when you do this, you then have to flush the condenser by pouring water through it in either your sink or tub. Make sure that there is plenty of room around the drier for air circulation; and empty the water container often or reconfigure your pluming arangement to reduce the water left in the container. The circuitry of this unit it sensitive to high humidity and can cause the unit to not function properly. So with condensing dryers you have to work on keeping them clean. Let me know how it goes. TIP OF THE DAY--
To reduce the suction draft and drying time your drier and save some cash, remove the lint catcher and take it to the sink. Run water into it, if there is excessive pooling of the water (water not running straight through) then fabric softener is fouling the lint screen. Use a small brush and dish detergent to clean it and then shake off all the water and dry the screen. Remember this tip on future driers and you will make the dryer blower motor last much longer.

Dryer not heating up

I hate to tell you but get ready for more problems with this drier, it has a bad track record. In some cases cleaning the condensor out and drying the unit well will allow the unit to function again. Once a month you need to empty the condenser unit, this is under the bottom panel at the front of the tumble dryer, you simply pull the panel down, undo the condenser and pull it out (it is normal for there to be some water in the tubes when you do this), you then have to flush the condenser by pouring water through it in either your sink or tub. Make sure that there is plenty of room around the drier and empty the water container often. This curcuitry of this unit it sensitive to high humidity and can cause the unit to not function properly. So with condensing dryers you have to work on keeping them clean. Let me know how it goes. Later DRRXR

Add Water

Turns out I finally called Keurig and explained the problem (says to add water when water container is already full...) and they told me that it was most likely an issue with the water container. They sent me a new water container about a month ago and it looks as though the problem has been solved!! Solution: Call Keurig and get a new water container!!!!
