If you fix it by yourself..need to make the phone or board dry... gentle open the screw (w/care) the use hair blower all over with it.not only the touch screen... otherwise, need to replace touch screen or bring it to the nearest service center

How can you fix your phone if you got a little bit of water on it

Remove the battery and leave it out of the phone. Put the battery and the phone in a plastic zip lock bag with dry rice. Close the top of the bag and leave the phone and battery in the bag for 3 to 5 days. The phone will return to normal when it dries out. If you use it while it is wet you risk damaging the phone.

useually unrepairable but take the back off then remove battery and sim then use a hair dryer to try and dry out the moisture sometimes it works depends on how much water damage is in the main board

You may have done permanent damage by putting the battery back in too soon. Remove the battery and put the phone in a warm dry place and leave it for week to dry out internally. Maybe it will work after that but you're most likely looking at having to replace it.

How do you cheng the filter

The Sebo X1 has 2 filters. Both should be changed once for every 20 bag changes. The long cylindrical filter in the bag compartment just slides out to the front - grab the little handle at the bottom and pull forwards - it can be a bit stuck, so you may need to lever it out with a screwdriver or similar. When you put the new one in, make sure you push the little metal lever back up behind it (this is just a simple device to prevent you from shutting the bag compartment when there's no filter present).
To find the second filter, release the foot pedal and lie the handle flat on the floor. This exposes a square panel with lots of small holes in it. Release that panel by squeezing the clip, lift it off and pull the foam filter out. Just drop the new one in and replace the cover, pushing it until it clicks into place. Job done!

Dropped the phone into water

It sounds like to me you have already powered on the phone. If you hadnt powered on the phone, you should have placed in a bag of white rice. And let sit for 24hrs. The rice acts as a vacumn and draws the moisture back out of the phone. Since you have turned it on, was it still wet when you did? It sounds like to me the motherboard has been fried in certain spots. It will need to be send in to be repaired or replaced.

How to take apart the LG Versa to dry out moisture behind the touch screen. It went through the washing machine, appears to work otherwise though

I would not try and remove any backing or covers off cell phones. I dropped my cell in the lake a couple of years ago. I took the battery out and laid the phoone and battery on my dash for a couple of days and this baked out all the moisture. the phone still works today!!

A bit of water got in the keyboard

  1. Immediately take the back off ur cell, remove the battery, SD card, etc. and blow out all the parts of the phone extremely well w/ the end of a vacuum cleaner hose - NOT a blow dryer, for several minutes.
  2. After it appears that most all of the moisture is gone, fill a new zip-lock bag [of good enough quality to have a very tight & secure seal - freezer bags work best] w/ dry rice, preferably white, and preferably not instant [most absorbant].
  3. Slip all phone parts into the rice, making sure that once inside the bag the phone parts are all covered, all the way around each part, w/ the rice, leaving nothing exposed.
  4. If u want to take it as far as I did... seal the back all the way except for about an inch. Hold ur mouth up to the opening and **** out all the excess air - just like a vacuum sealer.
  5. Seal up the rest of the bag immediately after taking ur lips away so no air gets back into the bag.
  6. Leave phone parts in bag for approx. 4 hrs. up to overnite, depending on how much moisture/water it took on.
A friend of mine told me about this little trick the day be4 I dropped my BB Curve 8330 in the tub [amazing luck to have heard about this the day be4 it happened to me!] and after following her directions to a T, Well...
...it worked like a DRRREEEAAAMM!
Now I recommend it to all my friends. Of course, try @ ur own risk.

you can take the battery and the back off the device and place in completely submerged in a bag of white rice and leave it in there for 1 to 2 days this will help absorb the moisture, this should fix it if the water did not damage the circut boards if the water damaged the circut boards then the device is fried

May be some water get into the phone.Yo need to temove all moisture trapped in the phone: Dry the phone, battery, any accessory, etc. with cloth and wrap each piece, phone and accessories, in newspaper. Place a few handfuls of rice into a plastic bag and then place the wrapped phone in the bag with rice. The newspaper wrapping avoids direct contact of rice with your phone because the dust from the rice can get into the small areas of the phone. The newspaper and rice will absorb moisture. Leave it there (with the bag open) at least 24 hrs.
