Hi ie48,

Can't find a manual on this watch, but will try to give you some things to try.
If you have a mode button on your watch, press this button in until you see the alarm time. Once you are in the alarm mode, press either the reset or start. On mine, I have a picture of a bell that will go off the screen when I turn it off. Others will say "ALARM" OR "ALM". When the pic/words disappear, then it should be off.

Other digital watches use a combination of buttons that must be pressed at the same time to get into the alarm mode. Once you see the alarm time, follow the above procedure to turn it off. I don't know how many buttons you have, but try pushing two at a time to get to the alarm mode.
Good luck!

Hope this helps. If it does, I'd appreciate your vote. Thanks,

Handie Andie

Take it back to the dealer and insist that he takes it back and gives you either a refund or a replacement.

It is clearly faulty and it is his liability to put is right.

Installing a spring in the Timex Ironman WR 100M watch

That spring is called COIL SPRING and it transmits the signal from the microprocessor to audio membrane fixed to caseback. This is how you hear all the beeps, alarms, e.t.c.
Examine watch movement and you should fine small hole (it can be even marked with an arrow and writing: COIL SPRING).
Fit that coil spring in to the hole and close the caseback. If you hear no sound, you fitted it in the wrong hole, so, refit the coil spring till you find the right hole and hear the beeps.

Rate, please.
