It will work again if you take it apart and clean the entire circuit board with alcohol. Clean also the keypad. Let dry and put back together. Some have screws holding them together and some have plastic clips that you have to take a knife to pry apart and unclip.

### What equals 48 ounces??

Hi Yesenia

There are a couple of possible answers, depending on whether you're talking about liquid ounces, or weight ounces.

For liquids, there are 8 fluid ounces in a kitchen '1 Cup' measuring cup. That means 48 fluid ounces are the same as 6 cups, 3 pints (2 cups per pint) , or 1-1/2 quarts (two pints per quart).

For weight, there are 16 ounces in a pound. (One fluid ounce of water also weighs one weight ounce, which is the basis of the adage 'A pint's a pound, the world around', since a pint is 16 fluid ounces, and 16 fluid ounces of water, or near-water like some beer, will then weigh a pound' ).. Anyhow, in this case, 16 goes 3 times into 48 ounces, so it will weigh 3 pounds.

For metric, 2.2 pounds per kilogram, or 29.5735 milliliters per fluid ounce.

Cheers!

### How to properly pour a Guinness

As a former bartender I have literally spent hours contemplating (and arguing with patrons!) about the proper way to pour a Guinness. Since leaving my post behind the bar, I did a little research in that matter. And to my chagrin, I was pouring the delicious stout almost correctly!

According to Guinness's website, it should take you a full 119 seconds to pour a pint. That's almost two whole minutes!

You want to start by using a glass made by Guinness or a standard tulip shaped pint/half liter glass.

Place the glass under the tap at a 45 degree angle.

You do not need to let the tap run for a second before placing the glass beneath it (unless it is the first pour of the day in which case you need to clear out the tap for about 20 seconds.)

Since a double pour is required for the perfect pint, you want to stop when the glass is about 3/4 full. Place it on the bar so that the nitrogen gas has time to settle.

Once the beer becomes a solid, rich brown color you are ready for the second pour.

Place the glass directly under the tap. If the tap has a backwards lever, use this. The back lever will let the beer pour more slowly and you will have time to draw a clover or a heart in the foam. This is a great way to impress your customers. If you do not have a backwards lever option on your tap, simply pull the lever forward and fill the beer up. This does not need to be done at an angle.

### I heard somewhere that pouring a pint of Stella beer requires nine steps. Is there any truth to this?

Yes. A traditionally poured pint of Stella is done using a 9-step process; however this does not mean that it cannot be poured the same way as many other beers.

The following video outlines the 9-step process -

### PF-2 "singulator problem.

You need to replace that part. My company had to do it last year, and we need to do it again soon. It breaks down easily and will work like that.

Call Microboards. They'll send you a part (you'll probably have to pay for it - ours was under warranty) and show you how to install it.
