Removal of a front tire on a boulevard c50

your going to need a motorcycle lift or another way to get the front wheel off the ground and hold the bike safely. then remove the capiler from the front forks. once that is done. remove the cap to axle bolt and some have a second hold down bolt. my vl1500 has two bolts. 1 for the axle and a second to hold it in place. when removing the axle becareful to remember the location of the inserts for spacers. they can only go one way or the tire will bind up. might be a good idea to label the spacers with a maker and use an arrow to know which way it was pointing to help when putting it back together. and when you get the caliper off I use a screw driver to move the pads apart to make it easy to pull the caliper out of the way. when its back together. pump the brake handle a couple times to build the pressure up and seat the brake pads again. if not you wont have brakes when you try to stop.

Where is the rear brake reservoir

On non-trike bikes the rear brake reservoir is often on the side of the bike near the bottom. If your bike has a front brake reservoir it usually looks the same, except, like I said, on the size, but closer to the back/bottom of the bike - near the rear wheels.

I have a roaring noise from the front wheel of a 2008 C50 Boulevard. I has just started in the last few days and gets louder the faster I go. It is the same sound when the clutch is engaged and I am...

Hello James, when the wheel bearing goes it is usually evident through the handlebars. A rumbling, gritty kind of feeling. If you feel any kind of resistance it could also be the front caliper sticking. Support your bike with the front wheel off the ground so you can turn it by hand. This will help to troubleshoot better.
I hope this helps.

Can not raise the handle bars on the Huffy Mojava Gulch?

You need to loosen the front bolt that holds the handle bars to the front wheel raise it to your desired position and then tighten it again, making sure that the handle bars are at the position you desire them. This will lock them in place so you can ride your bike and not let them fall back down deeper into the front wheel shaft.

I want to fix my friend bike, it skipps when she peddles, the chain wont stay on and the back wheel is wobbly. what can i do?

check that the back wheel is fitted correctly. is it wobbly becasue it is buckled, or because it is not tight onto the bike.

if the wheel is buckled then it should go to a store to be straitened depends on how bad it is .

if not put bike upside down and undo the back wheel nuts a little, push the back wheel back as far as it will go without over tightening the chain and making sure it is central to the frame tighten the bolts back up. watch to make sure it is not slipping.

then put it into a middle gear and turn the peddles if you hear rattling in the chain or it changes gear use a small screw driver to set the changer to the middle of the got and it should be quieter in gear.

also do this for the front changer and make sure it doens not go to far our as this will pull the chain off.

if not sure take it to a bike store and ask advise they will tell you whant can be done and how much it would cost.

I hope this was useful

I am needing a manuel on how to put a 10 speed 26in girls bicycle together it is about a 1977

Rear wheel should be already on, put front wheel into forks and tighten nuts or quick release lever.
The handlebars should alredy be attchd to the neck. Put the neck into the frame and tighten bolt or allen head when bars are straight aligned to front wheel. Install seat and any reflectors....follow these instructions carefully cause the manual that comes w/these bikes is junk....Good Luck to you friend.....Tim
