The cooker fan goes round but doesnot heat up

I presume you mean that the oven doesn't heat up! If so it is most likely that a new element is required. How old is the cooker? Regards, Allan Pointer.

My cooker I had delivered lastThursday does not work

You will have to contact the place you bought the new cooker from. There can be problems with warranty if you did not have it installed by a qualified technician as required by the manufacturers. Some more information on what is the model of the cooker and where you purchased from might help with providing any additional guidance on your options. Also a description of the problem might help.

Total electrical output

Bad news really, the supply cable you have there is not going to be capable of supply to any type of electric oven and hob like you listed above. Your supply cable is possibly only 2.5mm in size, and not the required 6mm with a much higher MCB at the fuseboard. Get a registered electrician to run a new cable from the board to your cooking area. A single oven takes about 3.2Kw adding the hob rings will take way over your limit. Curry's listing of that cooker as a load of .75Kw or thereabouts is obviously incorrect.

HOW TO WIRE A SINGLE INTEGRATED OVEN? Can it be wired into the mains cooker point?

An integrated oven that has a 13 amp plug can be wired into a cooker point without any concerns since you are wiring it into a feed that is capable of handling a greater power requirement than is needed.

For the avoidance of doubt, the other way around, if you are considering putting a 13 amp plug on a unit that is designed for direct hardwiring into a cooker point, you should think again because it is probably capable of drawing more current than the 13 amp socket could safely handle

Hotpoint ew81n cooker. Non working oven thermostat has been replaced. The cooker temperature is hotter than the dial reading. What can I adjust to make them the same?

Hi.
Unfortunately, the oven thermostat is non adjustable.
However, it is normal for oven temperatures to vary by + or - 10% of the setting.
This is acceptable, so to compensate, set the temp 10% less of the required temp setting.
Make sure you have the sensor fitted correctly inside the oven compartment
Make sure that the thermometer is accurate if you are checking the temperature with one.

You need to press 2 or more of the timer/clock buttons in seqeunce to cancel the auto setting.
The sequence of buttons varies according to the make of cooker, so just keep pressing the buttons until you hit the correct sequence.
Hope this helps.
