I am having a Problem with my video card not letting me run an addition monitor off the vga output on the motherboard. I know it works because I can go to the bios and change it and it works but they want...

When using a PCI or PCI-E graphics card, it will disable your standard VGA output port because the up-dated graphics card and your factory VGA port require different display drivers. Usually, the drivers are conflicting and will make your system unstable and cause it to crash. In short, you can't use both at the same time. I have a Radeon HD 5450 graphics card installed on my PC and it too has disabled my standard VGA port. If you are trying to use more than one monitor, you have to install a graphics card that supports a multiple display output. The graphics card will either have 2 VGA ports, 2 DVI-D ports or 2 HDMI ports or even any combination of the 3. My card, for example, has 1 VGA, 1 DVI-D & 1 HDMI. I can run up to 3 monitors at a time via my graphics card, but I cannot run a 4th monitor from my factory VGA port. My graphics card uses ATI/AMD drivers while my VGA port requires the use of Nvidia drivers.
I hope that you find this useful.

No video signal from Asrock Extreme 7 Gen 3 motherboard from VGA or ADMI

As i can see your motherboard does not have an internal VGA card.
Is your monitor working ?Try another monitor. If problem still exists, remove your VGA card and place it again fimly to a PCIex slot. (see manual). If problem still exists try another PCIex slot.If problem still exists get a working PCIex VGA card and replace yours.

No vga

Make sure you have connected the VGA cable to the right VGA socket. If you have one on the motherboard and have a separate one on the graphics card, the graphics card usually takes priority over the motherboard one. If its not the case, remove the graphics card and then check in the BIOS to make sure the graphics card has priority an connect the VGA cable to it.

Obviously if the graphics card lacks VGA connectors and only offers DVI or HDMI connectors you will need an adapter to make the VGA work on the card.

PNY 7130 630i VGA port doesn't work

if it has a vga connector on the motherboard, it does not need a secondary video card.  If the vga doesn't work and you have no display at all, not even on boot up, then you have a bad motherboard.

Nvidia GeForce 7200 GS PCIE - Multi-Display does not work

This card does not allow you to Multi-Display with the VGA port and the S-video port. If you put a DVI to VGA port adaptor (not supplied) on the DVI port, you can Mulit-Display two VGA monitors and (presumably) a VGA (from the DVI port) and S-video monitor.

This is not explained anywhere and the card does not come with a DVI to VGA port adaptor, so I wa only able to work this out after I bought the DVI to VGA port adaptor.

Monitor not working

sorry friend i ws lill busy so could not rply.
Anyways
  • This is the VGA out: ebc4b94.jpg
  • And this is the connection for VGA comes from monitor: c99e5d1.jpg
  • Now if your VGA - Out is mounted on your motherboard then you have on-board VGA card.
  • If it VGA - Out comes from a PCI card like dffb048.jpg
  • means you have PCI VGA card.
Now if you want to use another PCI card just remove the one which you are using and use another one. Use only one PCI card for VGA, need not to use more than PCI VGA card at a time.

Thanks
Iqbal
