Question about Cell Phones
Your GSM phone uses a SIM card to store important user information such as your phone number and account details. You can protect your device from unauthorized use by enabling a unique security PIN code. This PIN must be entered correctly when powering on your phone or after going into standby mode. Multiple incorrect entries of a PIN will result in a locked SIM card. You'll need to enter in your PIN Unlock Key (PUK) to access the phone. Each SIM card has a different PUK code.
Contact your wireless carrier by calling its customer service number. Check a recent invoice if you're unsure of the phone number. You will need to verify your account details before the representative can give you your PUK code. Write down the code for future reference.
