Question about E-Machines eMachines Desktop PC
Very strange behavior, it could be a virus, or it could simply be that your windows is corrupted. try creating a new icon for a program and see if that works, if it does, you may have to recreate icons for everything that was on the desktop.
My first step would be to run a virus scan though. AVG is a free program that can be downloaded from download.com
If my solution of recreating the icons, or scanning for viruses doesn't work, you may have to look at reinstalling windows.
