I have a lenovo y300 series laptop with windows xp. i recently reloaded the windows and after that the webcan is not working, it says no device. please advice

Follow the below link for the Lenovo support-drivers and software. Locate the file labeled "Levono EasyCamera" then download and save the listed for Win XP "initial release" to your desktop or other location on your hard drive.You might have to open device manager and uninstall any failed drivers listed with the camera first. Please look for any red X's or Yellow exclamation marks.........if any then expand the device name then right click and select properties then select uninstall. Next install the driver from the download, follow instructions and reboot your computer.

I have a dell c610 latitude laptop...with a pentium 3 mobile proceesor bought it real cheap very good first laptop...it swiches from wi-fi automatically and won't switch back...it has windows xp...

First reinstall SP3. If that doesnt work remove the wifi from the device list and reboot. If that doesnt work Idownlaod the latest device driver from dell. If that doesnt work then I would say a reload of XP may be the fastest way to fix this because youll be chasing the issue for hours. Reloading XP would be quicker if nothing else works.

Turn off the notebook. If yours is an Ideapad or 3000 series, press the Novo button. If you're on Thinkpad, I think it's called the ThinkVantage button... basically, it's the button that works (when Windows is on) to change the power scheme (in Ideapad) or to access one-button solution (in ThinkPad).

Problems to configue network controller in IBM T42

There are several different LAN, wireless, & modem devices that are installed on the T40 series laptops. For example, if one of the network driver or modem driver doesn't work then install a different one. Make sure you download all the various device drivers for your model laptop and the XP version of those driver.

Lenovo driver problem

Check the following location for the drivers for your Ideapad Y510.
http://consumersupport.lenovo.com/en/DriversDownloads/drivers_list.aspx?CategoryID=12

The drivers for lenovo y410 will not work for your laptop.
In fact most of the XP drivers at the above link were available since December 2007
