I have a video card radeon hd 2400 series for vista 64 bit compatibility, will it work on xp 32? what can i do to make it work?

Hi There,
Yes it will work with Windows XP operating system.
1. If you're going to change the Vista operating system to WIN XP 32bit, you have to find WIN XP 32bit drivers for *********** board as well as the HD2400. Install Xp 32 bit
2. For HD 2400 drivers just click the link. ATI The link includes Catalyst, OpenCL and Display drivers.
3. Wait for the download to finish, Run the 32bit display driver and follow onscreen messages reboot if prompted.

A. If you're going to use it in another machine just download the display driver and attach the graphic card.

Hopefully this information helps.
Thank you for using FixYa.

I have an ati radeon ed6600 and i cant find any drivers for it can u help me plzzz..... :)

I've never seen a Radeon "ed6600" videochip, and can't find one listed ANYWHERE, so I suspect you've misidentified your GPU. You MIGHT have a Radeon HD6600M GPU; you can download the drivers for it here:

http://www.amd.com/us/products/notebook/graphics/amd-radeon-6000m/Pages/amd-radeon-6000m-series.aspx

Open that page, and click on "Find a Driver" in the upper-right corner of the webpage.

The "Component Category" for your video card is "Notebook Graphics"

The "Product Line" is "Radeon HD Series"

The "Product Model" is "Radeon HD 6xxxM Series"

Lastly, choose the operating system you're using; Win7 32-bit, Win7 64-bit, Vista 32-bit, Vista 64-bit, or Win XP 32-bit. Select your operating system, then click the green "View Results" button.

The next page that opens will provide a direct link where you can download the drivers for your Radeon videocard. BE SURE to read the Release Notes and the Installation Instructions BEFORE you begin the driver installation.

Keep in mind that Windows must reboot when changing drivers, so DO NOT try to delay the process. Windows deletes a LOT of old files during the reboot so that they won't conflict with the new driver files being installed. If you delay or interrupt the process, you could have an unbootable mess on your hands.

Best of luck with this; let us know how it turns out.

Use ATI's removal tool, then re-install the drivers. Vista should auto detect a suitable driver. Go to ATI and get the latest Vista driver for your card and install.
