Most of the Bluetooth mouse is a Plug-and-Play device. Just put the USB nanoreceiver in your laptop/desktop then turn on the mouse and your done.
The common problem in a bluetooth connection is when the receiver (nanoreceiver) cant receive the signal from the transmitter (mouse).
Try to replace the battery/s of your mouse and connect your receiver. Check your device manager if your mouse will recognize.

How do I sync the mouse up so I can use it?

'Synch the mouse up'? You mean connect via Bluetooth? They are either Bluetooth to Bluetooth or Bluetooth to USB dongle.

Blue to Blue. Switch on the device you are connecting to and enable Bluetooth. Switch the mouse on, when the device finds it, click Pair.

Mouse to computer or laptop. Remove the USB dongle from the recess in the underside of the mouse. Plug it into the computer or laptop, switch the mouse on. Plug and play will connect it automatically.

Just have the mouse- wont work. have batteries in, have receiver plugged in. computor say working correctly. but isnt working

Try this;
Go to (>) Start>Control Panel>Bluetooth
A window will open showing you all the wireless devices that are already recognised by your computer. If the icon for this mouse is shown there then highlight it and click 'Remove Wireless Device'. Then click "Yes" (Sometimes removing a device and then reinstalling it fixes the problem)

NOW

Click on Add Wireless Device ( a new window will open and the computer will search for the device. When it finds the mouse an icon will appear. Highlight the icon and click Next
The computer will load the driver for the mouse.
Once this is done the mouse should be working OK.

Also check this:
Go to (>) Start>Control Panel>Bluetooth
Click on "Bluetooth Settings"
Place a tick in the box next to "Allow Bluetooth devices to find this computer > Apply > OK

If you have a Bluetooth dongle and your mouse is in pairing mode the Bluetooth icon should show up in the notification area. This is in windows 7 if you have the icon right click it and click add device. You might need software for the mouse if it came with a dongle. Did you install software for the mouse?

Blue tooth icon missing from system tray now Dell blue tooth mouse wont work

You need to connect a wired usb mouse first and try pairing the bluetooth mouse again with your system by going to the control panel and opening your bluetooth device manager. Click add a device and press the connect button underneath your mouse. System should be able to detect your mouse. If that failed, try replacing the batteries with fresh ones.

Dell wireless mouse and keyboard-no instructions

Most Bluetooth keyboards and mice are just Plug-n-Play and does not require any driver installation. You need to isolate the problem, please follow the steps below:

1. Make sure that the wireless adapter of your wireless KB and mouse is properly connected to the USB port of the computer.

2. Make sure that the USB ports of your computer are working.

3. Use fresh batteries for the KB and mouse.

4. After connecting the wireless dongle to the computer, turn on your KB and mouse (there should be an ON/OFF switch underneath).

5. Briefly press the connect button on the wireless dongle and then hold down the connect button underneath the mouse for five seconds and then release it.

6. Do the same steps for the KB.

Have a good day!
