My LG steam washer is making a loud thumping noise throughout the entire cycle. I checked again to see if the washer is levelled, a drained the pump and I balanced out the load afterwards because I thought it might have to do with the fact that I only had a pair of jeans in there. But nothing.

Hi from retired Englishman in SW France,
Although you say it's level I would recommend you try my method to make absolutely certain.
It is necessary to ensure absolutely that the machine has all 4 feet very firmly on the floor, and I mean firmly ;-0)

Doesn't matter whether it is empty or not but switch it off then-
very firmly push one front corner diagonally into the centre of the machine and see if the machine moves or rocks AT ALL, even the slightest. If it does you will need the open-ended spanner which came with the (new) machine........which of course went missing a long time ago?!! An adjustable spanner will suffice.
Adjust the foot under that corner downwards until it is very firmly- almost pushing- against the floor but not so far that the corner lifts up!
If this corner did not rock do the same to the other.
Once you cannot rock the machine the slightest little bit, screw the locking nuts up tight to the underside of the machine so that they will not move. Ideally the rear feet should also be locked.

If this has not cured the problem it is possible that the internal suspension is malfunctioning.

If this has assisted you please consider a 4 thumbs up for the rating.
Thanks and good luck!
John C

How do i repair a lg washer that makes a grinding noise when slowing down from spin cycle

It sounds as if the tub bearing on your machine is faulty. To replace this bearing one needs to basically strip down the entire machine.
Not a job for a novice.

Thumping and banging during the high speed spin cycle

LOUD NOISES IN washing MACHINE;

LOT OF THINGS TO CHECK, THE BELT LOOSE OR WORN, THE CLUTCH, THE TRANNY, THE BEARINGS BOTH TUB SEAL AND BEARING, THE REAR DRUM BEARING,

THE DRIVE PULLEY- If the washer is making a loud noise the drive pulley might be worn out, cracked, loose or bent. Remove the drive pulley and inspect it carefully. If it is damaged or defective replace it.
THE TRANSMISSION, THE MOTOR COUPLER, THE MOTOR DRIVE BEARINGS,
THE DRIVE MOTOR- If the washer is making a loud noise the drive motor bearings may have worn out. Washer motors are normally almost silent when they run. If the motor is run without a belt hooked up to it and it's loud it will have to be replaced.

The drive coupling connects the motor to the transmission and consists of two plastic drive forks with a rubber coupling between them. One of the drive forks is attached to the drive motor shaft and the other is attached to the transmission input shaft. As the motor shaft rotates, the rubber coupling between the drive forks absorbs the torque to prevent the forks from breaking. Normal use will create wear on the coupling and eventually the drive forks may slip and cause a vibrating noise. If the transmission seizes or if the spin basket cannot turn freely, then the coupling may fail and again you may experience a vibrating noise. Most models will require you to remove the cabinet to access the drive coupler. Disconnect power from the appliance before attempting any repairs.

If the washer is making a loud noise the drain pump might be going bad or might have something caught in it. Remove the drain pump from the washer and inspect it carefully. Look for anything that might be caught in it, a piece of wire, plastic, etc. If nothing is wrong with the pump, but it's still noisy it will have to be replaced.

Front load washers often use a self contained electric drain pump and the motor may be worn or damaged and require the complete pump to be replaced. Remove any foreign objects or replace the worn or damaged pump, thencarefully tighten the hose clamps and check for leaks before installing the cabinet or front panel.

All front-load washing machines have shock absorbers that are used to dampen the tub movement in the spin cycle. The shock absorbers or struts are attached to the base frame and to the outer tub and you will need to remove the front panel or the rear panel to access them. When shock absorbers weaken or become damaged, the machine will often make a loud banging sound during the spin cycle and if the symptom is not corrected, can lead to damage of other components. Inspect the shocks for signs of broken attachments, leaked fluids or a weakened dampening action and replace both shocks if worn. Remove power from the appliance before attempting this repair.

Some models of top-load washers use tub dampening straps to cushion the movement of the tub during the spin cycle. There are four straps attached to the top of the tub and to each corner of the cabinet

During the spin cycle the washer makes a loud noise and now it wont spin or drain water

If the 'loud noise' water sloshing you should first check that the pump filter isn't blocked. This sometimes stops the pump altogether. Coins, etc..If the noise is metallic it could mean bearings...Check the pump via the small door at floor level...Mind the water inside the machine. You may be able to drain first with a small hose which is inside the pump access door.....Nomess

Frigidaire was tub makes loud thump noise during spin cycle....

Need more information to make an accurate diagnosis, try removing the front panel (two screws at bottom) and visually check first the belt (all the way around) and then the springs that hold the tub suspended.
I would bet on the belt.

Whirlpool Dishwasher Model: GU2500XTPQ3 making loud whining noise

It's most likely coming from the wash motor bearings. Based upon the age of the dishwasher it might be time for a new one. Although it can be fixed by replacing the motor. It's usually easiest to change the entire sump assembly with the motor. You will have a new wash system. Part number W10782773 Dishwasher Pump Motor Part Number 8535150 Sears PartsDirect

Rattling noise during spin cycle

Most noises from a washing machine occur during the spin cycle. If you hear loud thumping during the spin, the load of clothes may have become unbalanced. Stop the washer and redistribute the clothes, then re-start it. Repeat these steps if necessary.

Lg wm1832cw front load washer

One of 2 things may be causing the loud noise.  Either the rear bearing on the drum has failed and will need to be replaced (very expensive) or the drain pump has a bearing problem and is making a very loud noise when it is draining (not too expensive).  Either way, you will need a qualified LG technician to diagnose and repair the problem.
