Check the regulator from the tank. On the right side of the tank is a small screw. Open this very slowly and verify you have fuel pressure in the tank and that it flows. Make sure you do not smoke or do this around any open flame. If this is not the case, get the tank filled with propane and check the hose regulator.

Model Q200, Propane model Get no flame on the burner. Apparently, getting no gas. Something seems to be stopped up. What to do?

Whether you're using a 20 Lb Propane Grill Tank or a screw in gas canister, the solution to the problem is the same .

1. Be sure you have enough gas in the tank or canister to maintain proper ignition.

2, If the above checks out OK. Turn the LP tank valve OFF or if you're using a screw-on canister
turn the gas valve OFF.

3. Disconnect the hose from the tank or unscrew and remove the gas canister.

4. Wait 5 minutes and reconnect the hose to the tank or reattach the canister to the gas valve.

5. Open the gas valve VERY, VERY SLOWLY (Slow Motion, slow). Once the valve is full open, light
the burner & turn it to HIGH. Did the burner light and does the flame height look correct?
If so, you solved the problem. Remember to always open the tank valve Very, Very Slowly.

if the above didn't solve the problem, you will either need to replace the Hose/Regulator Assembly or the Gas Valve/ Canister Holder. The Hose/Regulator Assembly you can pickup from any home center or hardware store that sell grills & accessories for about $30.00. If it's the Gas Valve/Canister Holder, you will have to purchase that from Weber or from Factory Appliance Parts http://www.appliancefactoryparts.com/gasgrillparts/brands/weber/q200.html Part # WEB4195 ($29.99) The adapter hose is also available there if you want to make it a one stop shop for $32.99

I hope ths helped you and thanks for choosing FixYa. Happy Grilling!!

Unable to get gas our of 'Blue Rhino" propane

The problem is an easy fix. Replace the current Hose/Regulator Assembly with a new one. They run about $30.00, at home centers and hardware stores that sell grills and accessories.

Once you install the new one and connect it to the gas tank, open the gas tank valve Very Very Slowly (Slow Motion, Slow) until it's fully open. If you don't do it this, the new regulator will lockup.

Hope this helps you & thanks for choosing FixYa.

I have a Weber gas grill, and I just replaced the propane tank, yet when I ignite it on the Start/High setting, very little flame is produced. This is the first time in 5 years or so that I've...

Don't worry, you'll be grilling in no time, if you follow these instructions:

1. Turn the gas tank valve OFF.

2. Disconnect the grill's hose from the propane tank and wait 5 minutes.

3. Reconnect the hose to the tank and open the tank's gas valve VERY, VERY SLOWLY (Slow Motion, slow).

Once the valve is fully open light one burner and turn it to HIGH. Has the flame height returned to normal? If so, light the remaining burner and turn it to HIGH. Do both flame heights look normal?
If so, you solve the problem! Remember to always turn the tank valve ON Very, Very Slowly.

Hope this helped you. Please let me know and Happy Grilling!!

How to change a weber natural gas grill to propane

According to Weber, "There is no conversion kit available to convert any Weber gas grill from one gas type to another. Any attempts to do it will void your warranty."

Sorry, but if it's any consolation, Propane Gas burns cleaner and hotter that Natural Gas in an outdoor environment. Which translates into faster preheating and hotter searing temperatures.

Hop e this helps and happy Grilling!!

First two burners work fine but when I turn on third burner (back) it cuts out the whole grill on the Weber genesis

This is very common with faulty regulators. The regulator is located on the hose (it is a metal silver disc located at the end of the hose where the hose attaches to the propane tank.)

To replace the hose and regulator, you need to detach the hose from the grill. Your local grill store should have replacement hose and regulators.

Hope this helps.

New Tank won't light Weber Grill

Try checking the regulator, this is the round metal piece connected to the gas line. If this is not level flat the valve inside will not let propane flow through.

My grill won't light, and I don't hear gas running

sounds like a problem with tank valve. Try attaching back to grill. Open valve slowly, if you open to fast valve thinks it is leaking and shuts down. If this doesnt work try a differant tank, buy always open slowly.
