Yes, you certainly do. The unit has to exhaust either as a AC unit or a Dehumidifier.

Where can in get a set of exhaust/intake hoses for a danby dpac120068 air conditioner

Is there a reason not to just go to the Danby site? Support Danby includes phone support, email and "Find Parts" Even if their source is out you should at least be able to find the correct part number, then Google Danby (part number).
You could also look to see if generic flexible vinyl tubing/hose can be substituted. It's doubtful that Danby created their own hoses.

I have a DPAC 13009 that was purchased a year ago at COSTCO. It has worked fine until now. It began making weird noises and then kept shutting off. Upon further examination there were pieces of white...

From your description, I would have to agree with you on the pieces being from a broken fan. The good news is, that your model has a 24 month in home service warranty, so the parts and labor to repair are covered. But, the real key is having a Proof of Purchase. Armed with that, you're good to go.
Contact Danby Consumer Support 1-800-263-2629, to file a Warranty Claim.

I hope this helped you and thanks for choosing FixYa.

We have 2 Danby air conditioners. One is a Danby Designer, Model DPAC 10060 and the other is a Danby Silhouette Model DPAC 12006. The venting hoses have broken to pieces and we need to buy new ones that...

You can purchase similar hoses at most home improvement center. Take a section of the old hose with you to get the right diameter and use the existing fittings to attach them to the unint and the window exhaust. What you may find is a better quality hose/duct, than what came with the unit. You may have to buy more than you need in length, but then you'll have some left over, if you ever have to replace it again.

Hope this helped. Good luck.

I want to use my danby 7599 as a heater, do I need to have the exhaust tube vented to the outside on the back?

As per instructions on page 4 of the manual I printed out from the internet (which I cannot find again) :
The exhaust/window kit must be installed AT ALL TIMES WHEN THE UNIT IS OPERATING UNDER THE AIR CONDITIONING MODE.
There should be at least 11.8" clearance between the unit and any other objects or building structure. The unit should be installed on a level surface. The window kit does not have to be installed during operation of the remaining three modes. (Heating (DPAC 7599) /Dehumidifying/Fan)

My danby air conditioner/dehumidifier model dpac 8399-4 leaks water all over the floor and never fills the holding tanks what can I do to fix this problem?

Probably needs cleaning. I assume it is on a level surface. Water drips from the evaporator coil into a collection tray of some type and then drains into the holding tank, this tray is either broken or the outlet is plugged.
Good Luck,
Gilsh

I've got a Danby DPAC 8399-4 portable heater/air conditioner. We usually use it as an A/C but we're trying to use the heater for the winter; we just brought it out of the closet. The fan barely works (and...

Check for obstructuions in the fan housing that may be hitting the fan blade, causing the noise and improper air flow.

Improper air flow will cause the uniot to overheat quickly and it will shut down on its high temperature limit switch.

You may also have a bad fan. Bad bearings will make a bad noise as well. Thios will cause the same symptoms described above.

Check for abstructions, if you can find one, remove it, if not replace the fan. You can usually reset the limit by simply turning off power and turning it back on after 10 min.
